Objective:To understand the current status of family care ability of PD patients and to compare the caregiver response, care ability and care needs of PD patients before and after intervention,to explore the health education based on Noddings care theory to improve the care of the caregivers of PD patients and improve their care ability. To meet the needs of PD patients' care needs.Provide a basis for improving the care ability of patients' family members, and provide reference for relevant research in the future. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, the PD patients and their families who were followed up regularly in the peritoneal dialysis center of Nephrology Department of a third-grade hospital in Jilin Province from November 2017 to August2018 were selected as a group. They were randomly divided into two groups by random number table method. In the control group and the intervention group, the control group was given regular health education. The intervention group was given the health education of Noddings care theory on the basis of regular health education. The intervention time lasted for 6 months, and the general information questionnaire of the patient's family was used. The patient general data questionnaire, the caregiver response scale, the care capacity scale and the PD patient demand scale were used to evaluate the response of the family caregivers of the PD patients before and after the intervention, the care ability, and the care needs of the PD patients.A database was established by EpiData3.0 software for patients and their families' general data and related data, and statistical analysis was performed using medical statistical software SPSS22.0.The measurement data were expressed by(`x±s),and the comparison of each index was performed by independent sample or paired sample t test;the count data was expressed by frequency and composition ratio, and the comparison between the two groups was performed by x2 test.Bilateral testswere used for all statistical tests,P < 0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.Comparison of the scores of the family caregiver response scales in the control group and the intervention group before intervention,3 months after intervention,and6 months after intervention, the results of the control group before intervention, intervention for 3 months,6 months There was no significant difference in the scores of the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the dimensions of the control group after 3 months of intervention(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in the self-esteem dimension of the intervention group.(p<0.05),the other dimensions were not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the dimensions of the control group after 6 months of intervention(P>0.05).There were significant differences in the dimensions of the intervention group(P< 0.05).2.In the control group and the intervention group, the family care ability scale showed that there was no significant difference in the scores of the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the dimensions of the control group after 3 months of intervention in the control group(P>0.05).There were differences in the cognitive dimension and courage dimension of the intervention group.Statistical significance(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in patience dimension(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the dimensions of the control group after 6 months of intervention(P>0.05).statistical significance(P<0.05).3.The self-comparison of the scores of the care needs of the control group and the intervention group before and after the intervention showed that the total score and the scores of each dimension increased.4.The self-comparison of the scores of the caregiver response before and after the intervention of the family members in the control group and the intervention group showed that the difference in the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the difference in the intervention group was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.The comparison between the total scores of care ability and the scores of each dimension before and after intervention in the control group and the intervention group showed that the difference in the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the difference in the intervention group was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Health education based on Noddings care theory can improve the caring ability of family members of PD patients, especially cognitive dimension.2.Health education based on Noddings care theory can improve the caregiver response of family members of PD patients, improve their family members' self-esteem and reduce the financial burden.3.Health education based on Noddings care theory can meet some of the care needs of PD patients.
