Reliability And Validity Of Chinese Version Of The Quality Of Oncology Nursing Care Scale And The Application In Patients

Objective(1)To translate the Quality of Oncology Nursing Care Scale(QONCS)into Chinese,and evaluate the reliability and validity of Chinese version of the Quality of Oncology Nursing Care Scale.(2)To investigate and analyze the current status of the quality of oncology nursing care and its influencing factors,try to find corresponding countermeasures to improve the quality of oncology nursing care.MethodsThis study consists of two parts:the first part is reliability and validity of Chinese version of the Quality of Oncology Nursing Care Scale,the second part is to research the current status of the quality of oncology nursing care and its influencing factors.The first part:Reliability and Validity of Chinese Version of the Quality of Oncology Nursing Care Scale.Firstly,achieving the authorization of the author of the Quality of Oncology Nursing Care Scale,then using the translation,back-translation,cultural adjustment and preliminary investigation to translate the QONCS scale into Chinese.Choosing 612 patients with advanced cancer of top four hospitals,using Cronbach's alpha to measure the internal consistency of the scale,using test-retest reliability to measure the stability of the scale;using content validity index(CVI)to measure the content validity of the scale,using factor analysis to measure the construct validity of the scale.The second part:A cross-sectional study was adopt.408 patients with advanced cancer were chosed by convenient sampling from four hospitals.General information questionnaire and the Chinese version of the Quality of Oncology Nursing Care Scale were used to investigate the current status of the quality of oncology nursing care.Using SPSS21.0 software to analyze the date.The statistical methods included descriptive analysis,Pearson correlation,and multiple linear regression.ResultsThe first part:the Chinese version of the Quality of Oncology Nursing Care Scale(C-QONCS)suitable to Chinese cultural background was formd included 34items and five dimensions.The dimensions of C-QONCS were being supported and confirmed(16 items),spiritual caring(6 items),sense of belonging(5 items),being valued(4 items),being respected(3 items).The Cronbach's a coefficients for the overall scale was 0.946,and 0.735~0.928 for every domain.Split-half reliability was0.879 for the overall scale,and 0.683~0.864 for every domain.Test-retest reliability was 0.867 for the the overall scale,and 0.837~0.889 for every domain.Analysis of content validity of the C-QONCS indicated that I-CVl was at least 0.86,S-CVl was0.97.The result of Confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)of The C-QONCS was that the factor model fitting is good according to the original struture of the QONCS,and all items load was above 0.4,fitting index?~2/df=1.580,RMSEA=0.039,RMR=0.022,GFI=0.888,CFI=0.945,IFI=0.945.The second part:the total score of The Chinese version of the Quality of Oncology Nursing Care Scale was(132.48±0.16),the total score of the dimensions of C-QONCS were as follows:being supported and confirmed(66.33±7.28),spiritual caring(17.45±4.56),sense of belonging(20.07±3.14),being valued(17.29±1.79),being respected(11.32±2.01).The average scores of the dimensions of QONCS were as follows:being supported and confirmed(4.15±0.46),spiritual caring(2.91±0.76),sense of belonging(4.01±0.63),being valued(4.32±0.45),being respected(3.78±0.67).The highest score of the item was(4.45±0.64),the lowest scoreof the item was(2.62±1.04).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the patient's age,education level,family monthly income,conscious physical condition,whether it was the first hospitalization and the length of hospital stay were the influencing factors to evaluate the the quality of oncology nursing care,and they all could explain 30.4%of the total score of the quality of oncology nursing care.Conclusion1.The Chinese version of the Quality of Oncology Nursing Care Scale had good reliability and validity,and can be used to measure the quality of oncology nursing care in China.2.Using the Chinese version of QONCS to evaluate the evaluation of the quality of care services received by patients with advanced cancer.The results suggest that care managers should understand the evaluation of the quality of care services for patients with advanced cancer,and find the unmet needs of patients to take targeted Nursing measures,develop the connotation of oncology nursing specialists,improve the quality of oncology care and patient satisfaction.
