Part Ⅰ::Theoretical ResearchI introduce Miao Xiyong and his academic thought,and expound the origin and composition of Spleen and Kidney Shuangbu Pills.The research progress of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)in modern medicine and traditional Chinese medicine in recent years was summarized.Introduce the progress of modern medicine in the pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment of this disease.At the same time,introduce the progress of TCM in understanding the etiology and pathogenesis,clinical dialectical typing,TCM treatment and so on.I also analyse the clinical efficacy,point out the existing problems,and look forward to the research prospects of the disease.Part Ⅱ:Clinical ResearchResearch purposes:This topic improve Miao Xiyong’s Spleen and Kidney Shuangbu Pill from the ancient prescription for new uses,its treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome Spleen and Kidney Yang deficiency type clinical research,aimed at observing the clinical efficacy of Spleen and Kidney Shuangbu Pill in the treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome Spleen and Kidney Yang deficiency type,and excavate the modern application value of the prescription,in order to explore the academic thinking of Miao Xiyong.Via this research to guide the modern treatment and prevention of diarrhea.Methods:60 IBS-D patients who met the criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases each.Treatment group:oral Decoction of traditional Chinese medicine(Dangshen 15g,Danshen 10g,Lotus 10g,Cuscuta 10g,Schisandra chinensis 10g,Cornus officinalis 10g,Huaiyao 15g,Plantago 6g,Nutmeg 6g,Orange 3g,Amomum 3g,Morinda officinalis 10g,Psoralea 10g,Wumei 10g,Muxiang 6g)decoction,one dose a day,two times.Control group:Trimebutine Maleate Tablets(Kaikai Aisheng Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.)with the approval number of national medicine:H20040713;0.1g/granule),2 tablets at a time,3 times a day,warm water delivery.The course of treatment was 4 weeks.After the course of treatment,the changes of symptoms,signs and safety indexes before and after treatment were observed and recorded,and the long-term curative effect was observed one month after drug withdrawal.Conclusion:Spleen and Kidney Shuangbu Pill is superior to Trimebutine Maleate Tablets in the treatment of IBS-D of spleen and kidney yang deficiency.It is superior to Trimebutine Maleate Tablets in improving the symptoms of IBS-D such as diarrhea,fatigue,cold limbs and weak waist and knee,and can effectively maintain the short-term relief of symptoms.It shows that Spleen and Kidney Shuangbu Pill is an effective prescription for IBS-D,which is worthy of further promotion and research and application.
