| Objective: To observe the clinical effects, safety and recent recurrence rate of treatment about jia wei Si ni powder oral and acupuncture Ghost eye point combination in diarrhea-predominant Irritable bowel syndrome(liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome),and discussion on its etiology and pathogenesis, clearly the advantages of acupuncture combined with decoction in this disease. Methods: The 83 patients with diarrhea-predominant Irritable bowel syndrome(liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome)from the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM were grouped by random number table. The treating group includes 44 cases, which treated by combination therapy with oral jia wei Si ni powder and acupuncture Ghost eye point, and the other group includes 39 cases, which treated by jia wei Si ni powder with oral treatment. There were four weeks course of treatment in each groups. Then compared the total effective rate、total scores of IBS-SSS and TCM syndrome、single TCM symptom score、single TCM syndrome efficacy and adverse reactions in the two groups.Following up effective treatment of patients for two months to evaluate recent recurrence rate.Results:(1)The efficacy analysis: The total effective rate of the treating group is92.50%,the other one is 80.55%.There is no significant efficiency(P>0.05),which shows that the two treatment methods have the same effect, but in the single TCM syndrome efficacy, the treating group improves symptoms in the aspect of abdominal pain or(and abdominal distension)、emotion induced、impatient irritability and poor defecation is significant(P?0.05).(2)Scores analysis of clinical symptoms:The scores of two groups after treatment reduce more than before treatment scores in the total scores of IBS-SSS and TCM syndrome and single TCM syndrome scores(P?0.05);the difference of total scores about IBS-SSS and TCM syndrome between the two groups is statistically significant(P?0.05);On single TCM syndrome scores, the treating group relieving symptoms in the aspect of abdominal pain or(and abdominal distension)、emotion induced、impatient irritability 、two hypochondrium fullness andpoor defecation is superior to the control group(P?0.05),but there is no significant difference between the two groups in relieving diarrhea、frequent suspiration and less eaten(P>0.05).(3)Security analysis: The occurrence rate of adverse reactions are respectively 2.50%、8.33% in the treating group and the control group, which is no significant efficiency(P=0.346>0.05).(4)Following up analysis: The recurrence rate of the treating group and the control group are respectively 16.00%、52.94% after two mouths following up,which is statistically significant(P?0.05),shows that the treating group have a significant advantage in reducing the recent recurrence rate.Conclusions:(1)This method of Jia wei Si ni powder oral and acupuncture Ghost eye point combination treatment have an accurate effect to relieve clinical symptoms in IBS-D(liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome).(2)Acupuncture combined with decoction has some advantagescompared with the control groupin synergistic efficacy, which decreases the rate of adverse reactions and recent recurrence rate to cure this disease. |
