Objective:An experimental study of allergic rhinitis with inferior turbinate hypertrophy was carried out.To explore the therapeutic effect of low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation for allergic rhinitis with inferior turbinate hypertrophy.and to explore the diagnostic value of nitric oxide detection in nasal cavity for allergic rhinitis.Methods:200 cases of allergic rhinitis with inferior turbinate hypertrophy from September 2016 to January 2018 were selected.155 patients with hypertrophy of inferior turbinate confirmed by CT examination of nasal sinuses and excluding other nasal diseases such as deviation of nasal septum, nasal polyps, sinusitis and nasal mass.According to the diagnostic and therapeutic guidelines for allergic rhinitis formulated by the Chinese Medical Association in Tianjin in 2015 and the detection of nitric oxide in nasal cavity,87 patients(13 of them lost interviews)were selected to meet the requirements.Among them,39 cases were treated with radiofrequency ablation of inferior turbinate with low temperature plasma.35 cases in the control group were treated with nasal spray hormone. The nasal symptoms visual scale score and the concentration of nitric oxide in nasal cavity were measured before treatment,1 month,3 months and 6 months after treatment. The symptoms score and the value of nitric oxide in nasal cavity of the two groups were compared and analyzed with statisticsResult:After data analysis, both treatments were effective.Compared with before treatment, the scores and scores of nasal symptoms in one month, three months and half a year after treatment were lower in both experimental group and control group, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The nitric oxide in nasal cavity of the experimental group and the control group decreased one month, three months and half a year after treatment compared with that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).One month after treatment, the scores of the control group and the value of nitric oxide in nasal cavity were lower than those of the experimental group. There was a significant difference in the scores of nasal symptoms between the two groups(p<0.05).But there was no significant difference in the value of nitric oxide in nasal cavity(p>0.05).Three months and half a year after treatment, the score and nose nitric oxide value of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).The data of nasal symptoms score of the two groups before and after treatment were correlated with the data of nasal nitric oxide value. No matter the experimental group or the control group, there was a significant correlation between the NO value of nasal cavity and the score of nasal symptoms before and after treatment(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Hypertrophic inferior turbinate by low temperature plasma ablation can improve the nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis patients, reduce the concentration of nitric oxide in nasal cavity, and improve the quality of life of patients.2.For allergic rhinitis patients with inferior turbinate hypertrophy,low-temperature plasma surgery is more effective than nasal spray hormone therapy, and can be used as a treatment to avoid long-term medication.3.The detection of nitric oxide in nasal cavity can provide objective data for the therapeutic effect of allergic rhinitis, and has important clinical value for the diagnosis of allergic rhinitis.
