Objective:To observe the clinical effect of press needle combined with acupuncture in treating postherpetic neuralgia, and compare it with simple acupuncture,so as to provide better treatment for this disease. Methods:According to the random number table method,60 patients with postherpetic neuralgia who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with press needle combined with acupuncture, once every other day, five times as a course of treatment,a total of two courses. The control group did not use press needle, but only the common needle, the same as that of the treatment group.Pain score(VAS),emotional score(HAMA,HAMD)and sleep score(PSQI)were evaluated before treatment, after each course of treatment and 1 month of follow-up.The difference of curative effect between the two groups was analyzed according to the results of the score and the curative effect index.Results:1.There was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of gender, age, course of disease and VAS,HAMA,HAMD,PSQI scores before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.After treatment, the scores of VAS in the two groups decreased significantly(P<0.01),but the analgesic effect of the treatment group was much better than that of the control group. There were statistical differences in the scores of the two groups at 5,10 and 1 month of follow-up(P<0.05).3.After treatment, the scores of HAMA,HAMD and PSQI in the two groups were significantly decreased(P<0.01).There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group after 5 treatments(P>0.05),but there were statistical differences after 10 treatments and 1 month of follow-up(P<0.05).The effect of improving mood and sleeping in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.4.In the evaluation of curative effect, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.3%,which was significantly better than 73.3%of the control group. There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture has a curative effect in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgi, but combined with press-needle is more effective, especially in terms of pain relief, mood and sleep improvement.2.Press-needle therapy is simple to operate, and more effective then pure acupuncture, thus, such therapy is worthy further promoting and using in clinic. |
