BackgroundWith the development and progress of the society, the demand for caring is increased as well.As a provider of nursing service, the cultural level and clinical experience of nursing staff often affect the formulation of patient care plan. After healthcare-professional patients are admitted to hospital, the role from doctors or nurses to patients with more in-depth understanding of the patient's mode of thinking. They can be judged from the perspective of the medical profession to analyze the quality of nursing services and nursing needs provided by clinical nursesObjective(1)To summarize the subjective feelings of healthcare-professional patients in the present medical environment, explore the current mode of nursing demand, and provide a more systematic, scientific and safe nursing service for the patients than ever.(2)To explore the real experience of caring for healthcare-professional patients, and to provide scientific guidance for the future nursing management and education.MethodsThis study is based on the grounded theory method in qualitative research, the research is divided into two parts.Part I: Healthcare-professional patients were enrolled from a tertiary-level hospital in Chongqing from June 1,2017 to December 31,2017.All patients were recruited in accordance with the exclusion criteria.10 informats were collected by use of Semi-structured face-to-face interview until the collection of information reached saturation. The transcript was transcribed to text within 24 hours after the recording.Based on the 7 step analysis method of Colaizzi's phenomenological data, combined with the application of Nvivo 11 qualitative research software, the collected data are stored, analyzed, coded and the subject is precipitated.Part II:Using the method of target sampling, the clinical nurses who caring for healthcare-professional patients in a tertiary-level hospital in Chongqing from June 1,2017 to December 2017 were included in the study. The research process uses a semi structured and in-depth interview method to stop the collection of information after the information reaches the saturation state. In this part,12 cases of nursing staff are collected as the interviewees. The data collected are analyzed in the same part as the Part I.ResultsPart I: Through the analysis, the theoretical structure of healthcare-professional patients' hospitalization needs can be divided into four dimensions: sense of security perception, vulnerability, social support system, medical environment. The patient's security is based on the acquisition of related disease knowledge and the skill of clinical nursing;the patient's feeling of fear and dependence increases after admission, and the social support system plays an indispensable role in the rehabilitation of the patients;there are still great differences in the medical environment and theory at present, and the management machine is still different in personalized nursing strategy, hardware facilities and so on.Part II: Analysis of interview data indicated that the feelings of nurses caring for healthcare professional patients were related to attitude, behaviour and cognition. In the attitude experience, nurses expressed complex emotions, such as achievability and tension, when caring for healthcare-professional patients. In the behaviour experience, some nurses worked like a machine without any thinking. Some participants reflected on whether their knowledge could satisfy the needs of healthcare-professional patients. Some nurses were content with the current working status. In the cognitive experience, some nurses had an unclear perception of their roles, and they focused on the physical condition of the patients..Conclusion(1)This study reveals the real experience of 12 healthcare-professional patients during hospitalization, reflecting their inner feelings, which is also a process of summarizing the commonness of medical professionals in the period of hospitalization. In the course of hospitalization, there is a positive and negative experience, but it also feedback the patient's needs during the hospitalization,so the nurses give the corresponding individualized nursing measures to meet the needs of the nursing service because of their characteristics.(2)This study fully illustrates the importance of the inner experience of the nurses to the clinical nursing work. Therefore, the nursing administrators and the nursing educators should pay attention to the communication and communication with the clinical nursing staff, adjust the career planning and development together, eliminate the negative experience, and reduce the occurrence of adverse events caused by the people. It can indirectly meet the safety needs of patients, improve the quality of nursing service and promote the development of nursing discipline.
