Clinical Research On The Therapy Of Bell Palsy By Acupuncture Coordinate Moxibustion With QianZheng Powder

ObjectiveA randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted to explore the clinical efficacy and safety of acupuncture and QianZheng powder cake moxibustion in the treatment of bell palsy and provide scientific basis for this kind of hospital preparation for clinical popularization.Methods60 cases of patients in the outpatient and inpatient department of Foshan traditional Chinese medicine hospital were randomly assigned to the treatment group(acupuncture combined with moxibustion with QianZheng powder)30cases and the control group(common acupuncture)30 cases.The treatment group was treated by moxibustion with QianZheng powder which made by Chinese medicine in Foshan at Xiaguan,Qianzheng acupoint and acupuncture treatment.The control group chose the ordinary acupuncture.The treatment time is once a day,10 days for 1 course,a total of 2 courses,2 courses interval 2 days.The clinical symptoms,signs,the H-B classification of the House-brackmann scale,the FDI questionnaire for the facial disability index(somatic function and social function)were selected as observation index.The grading scale and score table were used to evaluate the observation index before and after2 courses of treatment.SPSS22.0 was used for statistical processing to make systematic analysis and evaluation.ResultsAfter treatment,there were significant improvements in the H-B grading,FDIP and FDIS in the facial disability index FDI questionnaire in the two groups(P <0.05),showing that the two treatments were effective.The comparison between the two groups showed that two indicators were better in the treatment group,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),indicating that the treatment of acupuncture plus Qianzheng powder cake moxibustion in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.According to the evaluation standard,the total effective percentage was93.3% in the group with Qianzheng powder cake moxibustion,83.3% in the other group(table 15).The therapeutic efficiency compared was marked difference(P < 0.05),illustrating that by Acupuncture and Qianzheng powder cake moxibustion in the total curative effect of the treatment of Bell palsy is better than simple acupuncture.ConclusionSumming up the above analysis results showed that by Acupuncture and Qianzheng powder moxibustion and acupuncture treatment for bell palsy have definite curative effect,reflected in the score of H-B grade and FDI questionnaire,and statistically significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05),with Qianzheng powder group’s H-B grade and FDI questionnaire score better than no Qianzheng powder group,showed that acupuncture combined with Qianzheng powder cake moxibustion is safe and effective in the treatment of Bell palsy.
