Clinical Observation On Aged Functional Constipation Treated By Danggui Runzao Decoction(Qi-yin Deficiency Syndrome And Damp-heat Syndrome)

Objective: Observe the safety and efficacy of Danggui Runzao Decoction in the treatment of elderly functional constipation(qi-yin deficiency and dampness-heat syndrome),and provide a more effective treatment plan for clinical use of drugs in the future.Method : Seventy-two patients diagnosed with functional constipation for the elderly(qi-yin deficiency and damp-heat syndrome)from the affiliated hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into 2 groups according to the ratio of 1:1.Treatment group,given Danggui Runzao Decoction(composed of: Angelica,Codonopsis,Rehmannia,red peony root,white peony root,cassia seed,raw licorice and other drugs).In the control group,Maren soft capsules were given.The course of treatment in both groups was2 weeks.Observe and record the relevant indicators of the two groups,and compare the statistical analysis.Result :(1)There was no significant difference between the two groups according to gender,age,course of disease and pre-treatment symptoms.The results were comparable(P>0.05).(2)The frequency of defecation,fecal traits,difficulty in defecation and other symptoms were improved after treatment in both groups,and there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The improvement in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group,statistical analysis P<0.05.(3)The total scores of pre-treatment syndromes in the two groups were higher than those after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the use of both drugs can improve constipation symptoms.After treatment,the total score of the syndrome in the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).The symptom improvement of the treatment group was stronger than that of the control group.(4)The rank sum test showed that the total effective rate of the two groups was P<0.05,which was statistically significant.The overall curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(5)There was noobvious adverse reaction in the two groups of patients during the treatment,and no obvious side effects were observed.(6)One month after the end of treatment,the frequency of recurrence was lower in the treatment group than in the control group,indicating that the "Danggui Runzao Decoction" prevented the recurrence of constipation better than that of the Maren soft capsule.Conclusion: From the above data,it can be concluded that the efficacy of Danggui Runzao Decoction in treating elderly functional constipation(qi-yin deficiency and damp-heat syndrome)is better,which proves that TCM treatment can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients.Improve the quality of life of patients,and the safety of non-toxic side effects,highlighting and embodies the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine,for the clinical treatment of elderly constipation expands the thinking.
