Evaluation Of Clinical Efficacy Of Zhuyu Zhitong Decoction In The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation (Blood Stasis Type)

Purpose: Purpose: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Zhuyu Zhitong decoction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(blood stasis type)by clinical randomized controlled study.Method: Methods: We selected 80 patients who met the diagnostic criteria of lumbar disc herniation(blood stasis type)from the orthopedic outpatient department of affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of traditional Chinese Medicine,and divided into experimental group and control group with 40 cases each randomly.The experimental group was treated with Zhuyu Zhitong decoction and the control group was treated with Yutongning capsule.The two groups were treated for three weeks.The VAS score,JOA score and TCM syndrome score were recorded in detail before treatment,one week after treatment,two weeks after treatment and three weeks after treatment.So as to determine the clinical efficacy of Zhuyu Zhitong decoction.Result:1 By comparing the basic data of patients before treatment,between the two groups,such as sex,age,course of disease,VAS score,JOA score,TCM syndrome score and so on,which were all P>0.05,there was no statistical difference between the two groups.The two groups were comparable.2 Carried out the comparison of the two groups after treatment 1 week,there was no significant difference in VAS scores(P>0.05),but after 2 weeks and3 weeks of treatment,there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).There were significant differences in VAS scores between the two groups(P<0.05),which indicated that the improvement of VAS score in the group of Zhuyu Zhitong decoction was not better than that in the control group after one week of treatment.However,after 2 weeks and 3 weeks of treatment,the improvement of VAS score was better than that of the control group,indicating that the curative effect of Zhuyu Zhitong decoction was not higher than thatof Yutongning capsule only after 1 week treatment.There was significant difference in the JOA score between the two groups(P<0.05),which indicated that the curative effect of Zhuyu Zhitong decoction group was significantly better than that of Yutongning capsule group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of TCM syndromes between the two groups after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment(P>0.05),but by the third week there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),which indicated that the curative effect of Zhuyu Zhitong decoction was in the treatment.After 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment,the improvement of TCM syndrome score was not better than that of Yutongning capsule.3 Compared the VAS score,JOA score and TCM syndrome score before and after treatment between the two groups.There was significant statistical difference(P<0.01),which indicated that both Zhuyu Zhitong decoction and Yutongning capsule could improve the degree of subjective pain,JOA lumbar vertebra function and TCM syndromes.4 The efficacy of the two groups was compared.After two weeks of treatment,the effective rate of the experiment group was 50% and the total effective rate was 90%.The effective rate of the control group was 37.50%,and the total effective rate was 87.50%.There was no significant difference in the clinical efficacy between the two groups(P=0.254>0.05).Conclusion: After three weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the two groups was similar,the clinical efficacy of Zhuyu Zhitong decoction group was not better than that of Yutongning capsule group.Compared with Yutongning capsule,Zhuyu Zhitong decoction can significantly reduce the subjective pain,improve the JOA score,and reduce the TCM syndromes score,which is worthy of active application and promotion in clinical diagnosis and treatment.
