Observation On The Effect Of Balancing Needle Combined With Floating Needle Therapy In Patients With Knee Joint Osteoarthritis

ObjectiveChina’s population has entered an aging society,the physical and mental health of the elderly deserve our attention,the elderly at this stage,because of the young living environment,physical activity and other reasons,easy to lead to osteoarthritis knee joint.With the change of living habits and diet structure of modern people,the number of obese people is increasing,so that the load of the knee joint is getting bigger,which leads to the development of osteoarthritis of the knee joint to become younger and younger,and the incidence rate is increasing year by year.Western medicine treatment of this disease,with oral nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs mainly,analgesic effect is obvious,but long-term use,easy to produce digestive system adverse reactions.There are many kinds of traditional Chinese medicine,green and safe,but the curative effect is not the same.The aim of this study was to observe the clinical effect of balancing needle combined with floating needle therapy on osteoarthritis of knee joint and to verify its effectiveness in clinical practice.MethodsIn accordance with the principles of clinical epidemiology and evidence-based medicine,and according to the method of digital randomization,we divided the patients from January 2017 to January 2018 of Guangdong Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital,from outpatient and ward,which were compliance with inclusion criteria,into treatment group(balance needle and floating needle group)and control group(balance needle group).The control group was treated with a balanced needle,while the treatment group added a floating needle on the basis of a balanced needle.Both groups received treatment twice a week for 3 weeks.Compare VAS score with WOMAC score,which includes pain,stiffness,and physiological function.VAS scores were compared before treatment,1 min after treatment,30 min after treatment,and after a course of treatment;comparison of WOMAC score before and after treatment.Results(1)After the treatment,the clinical curative effect of the two groups was compared,the difference was statistically different(P<0.05).The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)After 3 weeks of treatment,VAS score and WOMAC score were compared with those before treatment,both of them have improvements.And the two groups of VAS score had significant effect on 1 min and 30 min after treatment.(3)At the end of one course,there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the total score of the two groups decreased in VAS score and WOMAC score.But there was no significant improvement in knee stiffness(P>0.05).ConflusionsThe knee osteoarthritis can be treated with either the balance needle or the balance needle combined with the floating needle therapy,the two methods can improve the pain and physiological function of knee osteoarthritis.It can be seen that the balance needle combined with floating needle therapy can alleviate the pain of knee joint,adverse activity and other symptoms to a large extent,the method is green and safe,the side effect is small,it is worth spreading in the clinical application.
