ObjectiveBy observing the clinical of the patients with respiratory tract-infected cough(drenched dryness)after infection by using Sangxing Tang at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and using the relevant evaluation form to evaluate the curative effect,in order to explore the clinical efficacy of Sang Xing Tang which was original dose.MethodsIn this study,first,a randomized controlled trial was conducted in which patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group(traditional Chinese and western medicine group)and control group(western medicine group).The Chinese and Western medicine group used Sang Xing Decoction(folium mori 3g,almond 3g,Thunberg Fritillary Bulb 3g,radix glehniae6 g,jasminei 3g,fermented soybean 3g,bretschneider pear pericarp 3g,Twice a day)combined with Western medicine compound Methoxyphenamine(Asmeton)capsules and loratadine tablets for treatment.The simple Western medicine group to Asmeton capsules and loratadine tablets for treatment for 6days.Then,to observe the changes of cough visual analogue score,cough symptom score and TCM symptom score after treatment,on the seventh day after treatment were observed in each group.Finally,evaluating their curative effect and safety.Results1.Cough visual analogue score:Both groups were statistically significant before and after treatment,both groups are effective in relieving cough,but after treatment VAS score(1.95 ± 1.27)in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(3.19 ± 1.35),indicating that after the treatment,Chinese and Western medicine combination treatment for improving the subjective symptoms of cough patients after infection betterthan Western medicine alone group.2.Cough symptom score:Both groups can relieve the degree of cough during the day and night,but treatment group to ease the daytime cough symptoms than the control group are more advantages,and can significantly reduce the severity of cough.3.TCM symptom score:Both groups can relieve the symptoms of cough,dry throat,pharyngeal itching,pharyngalgia,sore throat and symptoms of pharyngeal signs.Compared with the treatment group and the control group,in relieving cough、throat itchy and sore,the combination of Sang Xing Decoction and western medicine group was significantly superior to the western medicine group alone.4.Chinese medicine efficacy:Two groups of patients after 6 days of treatment,the Integrative Medicine group overall effective rate was 84.8%,and the western medicine group was 71%,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).This shows that the combination of Chinese and Western medicine in the TCM syndrome overall efficacy is better than simple western medicine in clinical efficacy.Conclusion1.Both the treatment group and the control group relieved the clinical symptoms of post-infection cough patients;2.Compared with the control group,Chinese and Western medicine group can better improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients. |
