Objective:Based on the community organization,the community family are taken as the research object,conducting oral health interventions to evaluate the effect of the family-based community oral health promotion in order to explore such promotion model.Methods:1.From June to December 2016,from the principle of simple random sampling,200 families are extracted as the sample of study from Jinzhou community of Nanning.The baseline survey was conducted through the oral health examination and questionnaire survey,which mainly includes the family's socio-economic condition,family lifestyle,oral health,general health status etc.Based on the results of the baseline survey,the family oral health records were established to analyze oral health status and the relevant influencing factors to develop the corresponding oral health promotion plan.2.Such 200 families were randomly divided into intervention group(100households)and control group(100 households).The intervention group was implemented oral health promotion plan while the control group were notexposed.2.1 Provide manual oral hygiene knowledge and oral health care package(including toothbrush,fluoride toothpaste,dental floss).2.2 Family oral health guidance: providing oral health guidance directly to the family members through the methods of hospital interviews,telephone calls,home visiting etc.2.3 Family member self-management: community doctors would check the self-management records filled out and properly preserved by the family members from time to time.3.The data was analyzed by SPSS20.0 and the effect of the intervention was evaluated by comparing the family living habits and oral prevention and treatment status between the intervention group and the control group before and after intervention.Results:1.Parents' final education Degree,Family numbers,Household Annual Income,total amount of monthly drinks consumed,frequency of tooth brushing,the maternal frequency of consuming sweet drinks in addition to frequency of tooth brushing,the regular oral examination in the past years,oral health attitude and knowledge rating and maternal dental caries status were related to the status of deciduous caries in children in their families,whose difference were statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.Before the intervention,there were no significant differences between the intervention group and the control group in relation to family general health condition,living habits,caries status,gingival bleeding status and dental calculus status,mother's life style.(P > 0.05).3.After the intervention,the differences between the intervention groupand the control group was statistically significant(P < 0.05)in relation to monthly purchase of the total amount of drinks,the frequency of brushing,the use of fluoridated toothpaste in the family,and the regular oral examination of the family over the past years.4.Before and after the intervention,there were significant differences among intervention group in the total number of drinks purchased during the month,the frequency of brushing,the use of fluoridated toothpaste in the family,and the regular oral examination of the family(P < 0.05).5.After the intervention among the experimental group,the treatment rate of pit and fissure sealant and local application of fluoride,the rate of adult teeth scaling and the treatment rate of oral diseases were higher than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions:1.The study reveals that the family with lower education,larger population,lower income,the higher number of monthly drinks purchase,family members with occasional teeth brushing or no brushing,maternal frequency of sweet drinks consumption per day?1,brushing per day< 2 times,no oral examination in recent years,low score on oral health attitude and knowledge,children of such family had deciduous teeth caries rate higher;Mothers with poor oral health status owns the children with poor dental health condition.2.Family-oriented oral health promotion can gradually change the behavior of the family habits.The role of family in the promotion of oral health depends on strengthening the family education and promotion of oral health to control the oral health risk factors.
