| As a new educational technology means,virtual experiment creates virtual reality environment with virtual reality technology and enables experimental operators,through the software designed to simulate real experiment,to operate the experiment as in the real environment.With the further development on the reform of experimental courses in medical colleges in China,more and more educators have introduced virtual experiment technology into their teaching.The application method of virtual experiment and the evaluation of teaching effects in the experimental teaching of Medical Chemistry have gradually become the focus of attention and discussion.Virtual experiment has many prominent advantages and significant features,such as interactivity,immersion,free off restrictions in time and space.It can make microcosmic experimental phenomena macroscopic,and make many abstract chemical problems concrete.By stimulating the experimenters’ multiple senses to it shows many inconspicuous experimental phenomena and strengthens the cognition of the experimenters.Moreover,virtual experiment is an independent learning approach with outstanding advantages.It combines real experiment operation with virtual experiment,which can effectively make up the shortcomings of traditional experimental teaching,and promote the experimental teaching effect and teaching quality of Medical Chemistry remarkably.However,at the current stage,many teachers,due to limitations in hardware conditions and inadequate application in teaching ability,lacks full understanding of the virtual experiment,which makes them meet the lower-tier application needs in using virtual experiments and fails to achieve its full goal.This paper discusses and analyzes the application methods of virtual experiment in experimental teaching of Medical Chemistry.According to the findings of teaching practice in recent three years,it is feasible to apply the teaching mode of virtual experiment into the teaching of experiment in the course of the Medical Chemistry;and it can provide the students with further and broader content of experimental course.Students can decide their learning content and process on their own conditions so as to achieve their comprehensively personalized development.In the traditional teaching approach of experiment,students are to operate experiments after previewing the textbook.Practice,however,dictates that it is far more effective to let students operate virtual experiment and then real experiment in classroom than what have been done in the traditional teaching approach.The application of virtual experiment into medical chemistry can not only train students’ normative operation capability but also cultivate their ability to analyze and solve problems,which promote teaching quality and learning effect,so as to further deepening teaching reform. |
