With the rapid development of computer simulation technology,artificial intelligence,sensing technology,three-dimensional display technology,computer graphics technology,Virtual Reality(VR)has gradually matured and improved,and is widely used in various fields of life.Stomatology is a highly practical discipline.At present,in the teaching of stomatology in China,students usually use in vitro models for experimental operations,and the experiment time is not long,resulting in less satisfactory teaching results.Therefore,this paper combines virtual reality technology and stomatology,and takes root canal treatment as the research object,and designs and implements the virtual tube experiment teaching system of root canal therapy.This paper analyzes the current situation of traditional stomatology teaching,expounds the research status and application fields of virtual reality technology,and discusses the advantages of virtual reality technology in the application of oral surgery experiment teaching.The key technologies of virtual reality have been studied,including 3D modeling technology,stereo display technology,collision detection technology,etc.The HTC Vive device is also briefly introduced.In combination with the advantages and disadvantages of the software,3DS Max modeling software and Unity3 D simulation software were selected as system development tools.Combined with the experimental points of root canal treatment,the requirements of the system are analyzed from the aspects of users,models,scenarios,functions,and non-functions.On this basis,the overall architecture of system development is designed.According to the development process of the system,use 3DS Max to make the basic model and map,then import it into Unity3 D software,use a variety of rendering methods to construct the surgical experiment scene,and realize the interface display,user login,experiment preparation,surgery by writing corresponding scripts.Modules such as operation and assessment scores.After the system is completed,the system is tested from the aspects of function,non-function,HTC Vive interaction,etc.,and finally the system is released into a web version.The system finally realized the initial concept,the experimental environment picture is real,the interactive function is complete,and the system runs fast,which has practical significance for promoting the development of stomatological experiment teaching.
