ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of Zhang's Yizhi prescription in the treatment ofvascular dementia of phlegm blocking and blood stasis type, and to provide certainreference basis for the treatment of vascular dementia with phlegm blocking andblood stasis type.MethodsFrom September 2015 to December 2017,60 patients with vascular dementia ofphlegm-blocking and blood-stasis type were selected as the study subjects, whowere admitted to the Department of Neurology, the first affiliated Hospital ofAnhui University of traditional Chinese Medicine. They were randomly divided intotreatment group(Chinese medicine group)and control group(western medicinegroup)with 30 patients in each group. On the basis of routine treatment of allpatients, the treatment group was given Zhang's Yizhi prescription. The controlgroup was given Donepezil. After a course of treatment, the data of the patientswere collected, and the data were analyzed with SPSS 16.0.The statistical datawere compared with t test(P < 0.05).ResultsBefore treatment, there was no significant difference in the basic data between thetwo groups(P > 0.05).After treatment, the total effective rates of the control groupand the treatment group were 73.3% and 86.7%,respectively,there was nosignificant difference(P > 0.05),the therapeutic effect was the same, and the levelof homocysteine in the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and thedifference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment, there was nodifference in homocysteine level between the two groups(P > 0.05),and theamplitude of P300 was higher than that before treatment(P < 0.05).After treatment, there was no significant difference in P300 amplitude between the twogroups(P > 0.05).After treatment, the P300 amplitude of the two groups washigher than that before treatment. After comparison, the difference wasstatistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the two treatment methods couldincrease the amplitude of the patients;after treatment, the P300 amplitude of thetwo groups of patients was compared. The difference was not statisticallysignificant(P > 0.05),which indicated that the two treatment methods had thesame effect. There was no significant difference in the scores of ADL and MOCAbetween the two groups after treatment(all P > 0.05).The mean blood flowvelocity of the patients with the same self-care ability was detected by TCD.Therewas no significant difference in MCA between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05),but after treatment, there was no significant difference between the twogroups(P > 0.05).The mean blood flow velocity of MCA in the treatment groupwas higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05),and after treatment, the totalscore of TCM symptoms in the two groups decreased, and the difference wasstatistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment, the total scores of TCMsymptoms in the two groups were compared, and the difference was statisticallysignificant(P < 0.05),which indicated that the treatment group was superior to thecontrol group in improving TCM symptoms.ConclusionZhang's Yizhi prescription can effectively improve the clinical symptoms ofvascular dementia patients with phlegm blocking and blood stasis type, and canimprove the effective rate of routine western medicine treatment.
