Clinical Effect Study Of Shuxin Decoction On Treating Patients With Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction

Objective: This study was to observe the clinical efficacy of Shuxin decoction combined with conventional western medicine in the treatment of Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction(HFp EF)with Qi deficiency and blood stasis with water retention syndrome.The TCM syndromes,cardiac function,echocardiographic correlation index,serum BNP level,serum AngⅡ level and the improvement of the scale scores of MLHFQ were compared through the treatment.To discuss its possible mechanism and the new treatment of HFp EF.Methods: According to the western medicine and TCM syndromes diagnostic criteria of HFp EF,60 patients who met with HFp EF in outpatient and hospitalization were divided into experimental group and control group(30 in each group).Referenced the inclusion and exclusion criteria,the control group was treated by western medicine,and treatment group was treated with Shuxin decoction on the basis of western medicine.Afterv a 4-week course of treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes,cardiac function,echocardiographic indexes,BNP level,AngⅡ level and the scale scores of MLHFQ were observed and treated statistically.Results: Compared with the experimental group and the control group,Two groups both can reduce the effect of the syndrome score of TCM.The efficacy of TCM syndromes in the experimental group was 93.33%,the control group was 63.33%,the experimental group was better than that in control group(P<0.05).Both of two groups could improve cardiac function,the experimental group was 90.00%,the control group was 66.67%,the experimental group was better than that in control group(P<0.05).The level of BNP and AngⅡ were significantly improved after treatment,the experimental group had better effect than the control group(P<0.05).However,the E/A,E/E′and LVEF levels were not significantly improved after treatment(p>0.05).There were significant differences between the two groups at the scale scores of MLHFQ.The experimental group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Shuxin Decoction can alleviate the symptoms of patients with HFp EF with Qi deficiency and blood stasis with water retention syndrome,improve the TCM syndromes and syndromes,reduce the serum BNP and angⅡ levels.However,the improvement of the E/A,E/E′and LVEF level of is not significant.Shuxin decoction may play a role in the RAAS system to reduce the retention of water and sodium,so as to improve the heart function and the quality of life activities,also has good security.
