In recent years,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has attracted worldwide attention.However,as traditional medicine,TCM also has several limitations which restricts its development.For example,the mechanism of action of most TCM is unclear and the components are ambiguous.Because of the uncertainty of its composition,it is difficult to determine the target of the drug’s actual action,and it is impossible to accurately determine the interaction between the components and targets.This is the dilemma facing the development of TCM.TCM is an enormous,overall system.It is difficult to comprehensively analyze the mechanism of action of TCM using only experimental methods.With the development of computer technology,multidisciplinary integration analysis has become possible.The systems pharmacology that combines traditional medicine and computer technology is expected to overcome the drawbacks of TCM research.Therefore,based on previous achievements,we have developed a TCM systems pharmacology(TCMSP v2.0)integrated analysis platform,which provides new tools and new ideas for the overall research of TCM.The research of this article mainly includes the following aspects:1.On the basis of a number of existing databases of our research group,we have used ETL and other technologies to integrate existing heterogeneous data,and has provided users with comprehensive information query and analysis;2.The original data was supplemented by further data mining,and the known errors and duplicate data in the original database were fixed;3.Reconstruction of interfaces and functions.The entire interface was reconstructed using H5.The new interface adopts a responsive layout design.Functionally,combined with the new scientific background,the platform was redesigned according to the requirements of previous users.4.System architecture upgrade,upgrade from the original stand-alone system to docker cluster,to support more concurrent users,and provide new online computing services;5.Integrate the newly developed algorithm of our research group into TCMSP v2.0,making the new platform have higher accuracy in target prediction and other functions;6.Integrate and analyze online data platforms and historical databases,initially establish a platform for analyzing big data of TCM with user feedback systems,and explore new ways for TCM modernization and informatization research in the era of big data.
