Treatments Of Infantile Damp-heat Cough Clinical Observation With Ma Xing Shi Xuan Decoction

Objective : Research curative effect of Ma Xing Shi Xuan Decoction on childre n’s cough caused by damp-heat syndromeMethods : Collected a total of 72 children with cough caused by damp-heat s yndrome,who visited the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional C hinese Medicine Hospital In september 2016-February 2017.Then divided the 72 children Collected into tested group of 36 and control group of 36.The tested gro up of 36 were given the treatment of Ma Xing Shi Xuan Decoction,at the same ti me,the control group of 36 were given the haoqinhuashi syrup.After a treatment period of 7 days,compared the efficacy between the control group and the control group.Results : The total effective rate of the treatment group was 97.22%,while it was 88.89% in the control group.The obvious curative rate of the treatment group was 75% and that of the control group was 33.33%.Differences of the primary and secondary symptoms before and after the treatment in the same group was statistically significant(P<0.05),which meant there was significant curative effect in the treatment group and control group in the treatment of cough caused by damp-heat syndrome.Compared the total effect between the two groups,there was significant differences(P ?0.05),which showed that the curative effect of the Chinese medicine treatment group was superior to the western medicine control group.As a result of comparing the aspect of individual symptoms,the two groups had no significant difference at eating habits、reddish urine;belong to minor symptoms(P> 0.05),but in terms of cough,phlegm belong to main symptoms and fever anorexia belong to minor symptoms,the tested term significantly had better efficacy than control group((P <0.01),and also had better efficacy than control group in terms of sneezing,runny nose,stool stem node、tongue and pulse belong to minor symptoms(P<0.05)Conclusion: Ma Xing Shi Xuan decoction is one of the effective prescriptions to cure damp-heat cough and has got an admission during clinical treatment.So in s ummary,it is worthy further study.
