The Research Status Of Traditional Chinese Medicine And Combine Traditional Chinese And Western Medicine In Treating Acute Gouty Arthritis

Gout,as a life-long disease,can lead to severe pain in the affected joint in acute stage,and may lead to long-term joint damage,seriously affecting the quality of life of patients.Although the western medicine treatment has remarkable curative effect,it has a lot of adverse reactions,subjecting to many limits in the clinical application aspect.However,the curative effect of the traditional Chinese medicine on treating gout is clear,the method is diverse,the side effect is low,and it has the good characteristic and the superiority in the treatment,receiving more and more attention.At the same time,the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment not only can strengthen the therapeutic effect,achieve the purpose of treating both the symptoms and root causes of disease,but also reduce the side effects of western medicine and the recurrence of disease.This paper reviews the current situation of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis.
