The Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Menopausal Depression Patients With Bu Shen Jie Yu Decoction

Objective: Under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine theory,the treatment of female menopausal depression was treated with the self-designed prescription of Bu Shen Jie Yu decoction in this study.Through results of the research,we can objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of Bu Shen Jie Yu decoction for the treatment of the disease.Through the analysis of the contents of estrogen and neurotransmitter in the patients and the changes of various scales before and after the treatment,the mechanism for the treatment of the disease was discussed.Methods: A total of 64 cases being observed were the patients of female menopause depression in our hospital insomnia clinic during October 2016 to September 2017.These cases were randomly divided into the treatment group(TCM+western medicine)of 32 cases and the control group(western medicine)of 32 cases based on the random number table method.The control group were treated with western medicine,and the treatment group was given Bu Shen Jie Yu decoction on the basis of western medicine for 4 weeks.We needed to observe and record the changes of scales,including TCM syndrome integral,HAMD score,Kupperman integral,PSQI score,and to test the patients with estrogen(E2,LSH,LH)and neurotransmitter(5-HT,NE)level.The clinical efficiency of gastrointestinal function was evaluated accordingly.The clinical efficiency and possible mechanism of Bu Shen Jie Yu decoction were explored through the statistical analysis.The results can better guide the clinical and benefit patients.Results:1.Comparison of efficacy between the two groups after treatment1)Comparison of curative effect of western medicineThe total effective rate of treatment group was greater than that of thecontrol group according to the assessment criteria of HAMD scale,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2)Comparison of the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicineThe total effective rate of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group after treatment according to the Chinese medicine syndrome integral deduction rate sub-standard,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).2.Comparison of HAMD score and TCM syndrome scoreThe HAMD scores and the TCM syndromes of the two groups decreased after treatment,and two indicators of the was compared,showing statistical significance between the two groups(P<0.01).The treatment group curative effect is better than that of control group,particularly in terms of emotional and physical symptoms.3.Comparison of Kupperman scores between the two groupsThe Kupperman scores were lower than after treatment,and the Kupperman score was statistically significant(t=8.97,P<0.01)after treatment in both groups,suggesting that the treatment group was better than the control group.4.Comparison of PSQI scores between the two groupsTwo groups of PSQI scores were compared and differences were statistically significant(t=5.51,P<5.51),showing that the treatment group is better than that of control group in terms of improving sleep quality.5.Comparison of estrogen levels between the two groupsThe Estradiol content of the patients in both groups increased after treatment.The levels of FSH and LH were decreased,the difference had statistical significance(P<0.01),showing that the treatment group is better than that of control group.6.Comparison of the content of neurotransmittersThe content of 5-HT and NE in both groups increased.Compared with two groups after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(t=-6.06,P<0.01),indicating that the treatment group had better effect.7.Comparison of adverse reactions between the two groupsThe results showed that the treatment group found 1 case of perturbation and dizziness.In the control group,3 patients were found to have panic disorder,2 cases showed nausea,and the symptoms disappeared after treatment.The safety indexes of the two groups were not significantly abnormal.It is suggested that the treatment of patients with TCM is safer.Conclusion: The results suggest that Bu Shen Jie Yu decoction can improve the clinical symptoms of female menopause depression more effectively and relieve the depressive state of the patients.The mechanism may be through regulating menopause depression patients serum levels of estrogen and neurotransmitters and correcting the endocrine disorder.TCM has less adverse reactions and it is worth popularizing in clinical.
