Construction Of Nursing-sensitive Quality Indicators In ICU Nursing In Tertiary General Hospital Of Hebei Province

Objective: To construct the sensitive index of ICU nursing quality in Hebei province,and to provide scientific and local reference for improving the nursing quality of ICU.Methods: Through theoretical analysis,we initially set up an index system framework.We are able to Grade and quality evaluation of retrieved documents by using the method of John Hopkins Nursing Evidence-Based Practice.By summarizing attestation and analysing theories,we are able to screen out the initial index.The initial sensitive index system of ICU nursing quality in Hebei Province has been affirmed according to the dicussion of panels of experts.Using the Delphi Method to inquire expert's advice.To Make the inquiry questionnaire and take the Likert 5 grade score method to evaluate the importance and feasibility of the index.It's used the analysis and summary of statistical data and expert opinions to revise the index.Using he expert authority coefficient and positive coefficient to measure the reliability of research results;Kendall consistency coefficient W test was used to evaluate the consistency of opinions among experts.Results: It is finnaly recieved 21 pieces of high-qualitied literatures by using literature retrieval,evidence level and quality evaluation.It is determined the initial index system as a result of the discussion by panel of experts,including 3 items of first-level index and 22 items of second-level index.We has selected 30 experts though purposive sampling method in the range of 22 Third-Level hospitals in 10 cities of Hebei Province.After 2rounds of expert consultation,it has finally made sure the sensitive index system of ICU nursing quality in Hebei Province,which includes 3 items of first-level index and 15 items of second-level index and the formula,evaluation method and so on are defined.To make statistics on the results ofthe 2 round of inquiry,the experts put forward 33 amendment suggestions and the expert positive coefficient both reached 100%;the expert authority coefficient has been 0.82±0.10;the coefficient of variation is 0.00-0.22;The Kendall coordination coefficient is 0.10-0.20(P<0.05).The data of statistics show expert opinion and the result of inquiry is scientific and reliable.Conclusion: To construct ICU nursing quality sensitivity index system of three general hospitals in Hebei including 3 first level indicators,15 two level indicators.The names,definitions,calculation formulas and evaluation methods of indicators are clearly expressed.To construct local ICU nursing quality sensitivity index;the data conforms to statistical requirements and the research results are scientific and reliable.It can provide guidance for ICU nursing management and clinical nursing work.
