| Objectives:This study investigated the self-perceived burden and social support status of patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease in Lhasa,to understand the self-perceived burden and social support status of patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease in Lhasa,and to explore the impact of general demographic information on self-perception burden;Analyze the correlation between patient’s self-perceived burden and social support;based on the results,provide reference basis for intervention measures to improve social support and reduce self-perceived burden of patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease in Lhasa.Methods:In this study,a convenient sampling method was used to select 200 hospitalized patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease in the Second People’s Hospital of the Tibet Autonomous Region from April to October in 2017 as to conduct a questionnaire survey.The survey questionnaires consist of a general information questionnaires,Self-perception burden scale(SPBS)and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS).Using Epidata3.1 software to create a database and double entry the data,using SPSS21.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Data analysis included descriptive statistics,one factor analysis of variance,Spearman correlation analysis,multiple stepwise regression analysis.Results:1.The overall self-perception burden score of patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease was 29(27,31),In the score of each dimension,the score of physical burden dimension was 6.5(6,7),the score of emotional burden dimension was 16.5(15,18);the score of economical burden dimension was 6(5,6);the total score of social support for patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease was 32.02±5.04,which was lower than the domestic norm(P<0.05).In the score of each dimension,the score of objective support dimension: 15.51±3.05,the score of subjective support: 9.00±1.80,and the score of utilization degree of support: 7.52±2.13.The objective support dimension scores the highest.2.The self-perception burden score of patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease was analyzed by rank sum test.Results showed that the self-perception burden score of patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease was statistically different in terms of occupation,medical insurance type,religious beliefs,education level,family annual income by per capita,private part of hospitalization expenses,self-care ability,understanding of diseases,and treatment methods(P<0.05).3.Correlation analysis showed that the total score of self-perception burden and the score of each dimension in patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease were negatively correlated to the total score of social support(P<0.05),the score of subjective support for patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease was negatively correlated to the total score of self-perception burden and the score of each dimension(P<0.05),the score of objective support for patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease was negatively correlated to the total score of self-perception burden,the emotional dimension of self-perception burden and the economical dimension of self-perception burden(P<0.05).4.The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the social support,religious beliefs,and family annual income by per capita entered the regression equation,which were the main influencing factors for patients of the self-perception burden with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease.The three can explain 20.3% of the total variation in self-perception burden for patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease.Conclusion:1.Patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease generally exhibited from light and moderate self-perception burden;2.Factors influencing the self-perception burden of patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease were occupation,medical insurance type,religious beliefs,education level,family annual income by per capita,private part of hospitalization expenses,self-care ability,understanding of diseases and treatment methods;3.Patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease have low level of social support which was lower than domestic norm;4.The score of self-perception burden for patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease was negatively correlated to the score of social support,improving the level of social support can reduce the self-perception burden in patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis disease. |
