| Objective:The purpose of the paper is to discuss and evaluate the efficacy and safety of Tangshenkang water-hindered pill by observing its effect on urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),the TCM clinical symptoms and relevant scores,and Interleukin 8(IL-8)level of the patients suffering from early-phase diabetic nephropathy with deficiency of kidney and blood stasis.Methods:60 patients suffering from early-phase diabetic nephropathy with deficiency of kidney and blood stasis were selected according to specific standards for a single-blind,randomized control trial and randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Tangshenkang water-bindered pill combined with basic therapy for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy,and the control group was treated with only basic therapy.The course of treatment is 8 weeks.Changes in TCM clinical symptoms and its relevant scores,urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),IL-8 and other relevant indicators before and after the treatment were observed.Statistics work was done based on the obtained results.Results:1.Compared clinical efficacy of the treatments with and without application of Tangshenkang water-bindered pill,and concluded that the effective rate of the control group was 76.67%,while the effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),and the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better that of the control group.2.After the treatment,there was no significant difference(P>0.05)in the UAER of the control group compared to that before the treatment,while the difference in the UAER of the treatment group was significant(P<0.05).The comparison indicated that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in reducing the UAER of patients.3.The score indicating the improvement in TCM syndromes of the control group was 76.67%,while that of the treatment group was 90.00%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving TCM syndromes.4.After the treatment,there was no significant difference(P>0.05)in the IL-8 level of the control group compared to that before the treatment,while the difference in the IL-8 of the treatment group was significant in terms of statistics(P<0.01).The comparison indicated that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in reducing the IL-8 level of patients.5.In the course of the treatment no obvious adverse reactions were seen in either group.Conclusion:1.Tangshenkang water-hindered pill can reduce the UAER and the blood sugar of patients suffering from early-phase diabetic nephropathy and kidney diseases,and the effect is significant.2.Tangshenkang water-hindered pill can reduce the IL-8 level of patients suffering from early-phase diabetic nephropathy with significant efficacy and it can relieve the inflammation.3.Tangshenkang water-bindered pill can reduce the score indicating the TCM syndromes and it can improve the TCM symptoms of the patients.4.Tangshenkang water-bindered pill can improve the TCM symptoms including polyuria,slow statement with fatigue,soreness of waist and legs,dark lips and squamous and dry skin,and the effect is significant. |
