Clinical Observation Of Jianpi Zishen Tongluo Decoction Therapy After Breast Cancer-related Lymphedema

Purpose:This clinical study is based on the theories of traditional Chinese medicine and clinical treatment experience,using self-made Jianpi Zishen Tongluo Decoction for postoperative patients with breast cancer-related lymphedema.By observing the patients' limb circumference difference,the quality of life,the classification and quantification of TCM symptoms,and the index of physical status,this study further clarifies the effect of Jianpi Zishen Tongluo Decoction on the improvement of the symptoms and quality of life of patients with breast cancer-related lymphedema.Methods:This study includes 60 patients with breast cancer-related lymphedema.In accordance with the principle of random distribution,the patients are divided into the experimental group and the control group,that is,the experimental group is treated with Jianpi Zishen Tongluo Decoction combined with functional exercise,and the control group is treated with functional exercise.Before treatment and at the end of the course of treatment,statistical software evaluation is used to evaluate the patients' upper arm circumference,the quality of life measurement scale of breast cancer patients,the classification and quantification of TCM symptoms,KPS scores,etc.Pay attention to the patients' other adverse reactions as well.Results:? Peripheral diameter of the upper arm:The difference between the circumference of the upper limb of the affected limb before and after the treatment is significantly greater than that of the control group.The total number of effective cases measured in the experimental group is 26 cases(accounting for 86.67%)more than the total effective case of the control group(accounting for 73.33%),and the differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).? The quality of life measurement scale of breast cancer patients:Before and after treatment,the experimental group changes in physiological conditions,functional status,and additional attention,and all had statistical significance(P<0.05).Before and after treatment,the functional status of the control group changes,and there is a statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,there is a statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in changes in physiological status and affective status(P<0.05).? Symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine:After treatment,the experimental group has a statistically significant decrease in scores of soreness and weakness of waist and knees,insomnia,dreamlessness,spontaneous perspiration/night sweating,and post-natal fever(P<0.05).The control group has no significant change in the above symptoms,and there is no statistical significance(P>0.05).After treatment,there is a statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in changes of insomnia and dreams,spontaneous perspiration/night sweating,and post nocturnal hypothermia(P<0.05).? Effectiveness of TCM clinical symptoms:After treatment,the total effective rate of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).? Physical condition(KPS score):There is statistical significance(P<0.05)in the experimental group.After treatment,there is statistical difference between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Jianpi Zishen Tongluo Decoction can relieve lymphatic edema in patients' upper limbs,improve the systemic function of breast cancer patients,resolve clinical disputes,and improve the quality of life.
