Epidemiology On Reported People Living With HIV/AIDS In Chuzhou City From 2012 To 2015

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of annual reportedpeople living with HIV/AIDS(HIV/AIDS)in Chuzhou city,Anhui province from 2012 to 2015 and to provide theoretical evidence for strategies on targeted prevention and control.Methods First,Chuzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention summarized and verified HIV/AIDS epidemic situation through network direct reporting system,the study of data directly came from Chuzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention.Thenthree epidemical distributions of disease were analyzed using Excel and SPSS software.Results1.General situation of the HIV/AIDS: During 2012 to 2015,there were 201 cases of HIV infection in chuzhou,with an infection rate of 5.08/100,000;There were a total of 182 cases of AIDS,with a incidence of 4.59 per 100,000;The number of death was 54,with a death rate of 1.36/100,000.2.Time distribution: In 2012-2015,the total number of new HIV/AIDS cases in chuzhou increased year by year,and the proportion of HIV/AIDS cases presented an increasing trend.HIV infection rates was rising year by year,the incidence of AIDS was fluctuating,and the death rate from HIV/AIDS was decreasing year by year.3.Population distribution: From the cumulative results of the four years,the sex ratio for men and women was 4.2:1;58.2% in the age group of 20 to 39;A new report of30.8 percent of new HIV/AIDS cases were farmers,followed by household services accounting for 19.6 percent.4.Regional distribution: overall,the cases are mainly concentrated in fengyang county,mingguang county,etc.,accounting for 76%.5.Sexual transmission has always been the dominant position.From 2012 to 2015,the proportion of same-sex transmission increased.In addition,the cases were found mainly through hospital testing and voluntary testing.Conclusion The AIDS epidemic of Chuzhou presented obvious characteristics in the distribution of time,regions and population.Heterosexual contact is the main route of transmission of HIV/AIDS,so safe sex consciousness and surveillance projects should be strengthened among the population with sexually promiscuous behaviors.Optimal prevention and control measures based on the characteristics of AIDS epidemic should be developed to explore the stem spread and epidemics of the disease,in Chuzhou.
