Clinical Observation Of Modified Liang Ge Powder On Pediatric Acute Suppurative Tonsillitis Of Lung-stomach Heat Pattern

Objective:With the clinical curative effect observation of modified Liang Ge Powder on pediatric acute suppurative tonsillitis of lung-stomach heat pattern,then to evaluate the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in treating this disease.Methods:A total of 64 children with acute suppurative tonsillitis according to inclusion and exclusion criteria were casually divided into two groups.There were 32 cases in the treatment group and 32 cases in the control group.The control group took the Ampicillin capsule,the treatment group was treated with Modified Liang Ge Powder.Symptomatic treatments of western medicine were available to both groups,and the curative effects were observed after 7 days,finally we use the statistical software SPSS19.0 to analyze and address statistics.Results:1.Analysis of entire efficacy:making comparison between the two groups,the total efficiency of the treatment group was 93.33%,while the control group was 86.67%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),which indicated that the total effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.2.Comparisons in the same groups before and after treatment:major symptom scores(pharyngalgia,tonsillar swelling and congestion,tonsillar pyosis),minor symptom scores and total scores before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),which proved that both of the two groups treatments could improve the main symptoms and secondary symptoms of acute suppurative tonsillitis in children.3.Comparisons between the two groups after treatment:The difference between the two groups in improving the main symptoms of pharyngalgia,tonsillar swelling and congestion was statistically significant(P<0.05),certified that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups in erasing the tonsillar pyosis(P>0.05),and then the time of purulence disappearance was compared between the two groups.The results showed that the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),which validated that the treatment group was superior to the control group in the time of eliminating tonsillar purulence.After treatment,the two groups were compared in terms of peripheral symptom scores and total scores.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),which indicated that the improvements of secondary and comprehensive syndromes in the treatment group were better than that in the control group.Conclusions:1.Modified Liang Ge Powder has a reliable effect on the treatment of pediatric acute suppurative tonsillitis of lung-stomach heat pattern,the total efficiency was 93.33%,better than that in the control group.2.Modified Liang Ge Powder was superior to the control group in improving the conditions of pharyngalgia,tonsillar swelling and congestion,also in the time of eliminating tonsillar purulence.3.The treatment was superior to the control group in improving the secondary syndrome and comprehensive syndrome.
