Study On Prevention And Treatment Of Porcine Epidemic Diarrheain A Large Scale Pig Farm Of Shanxi Province

PED contributes to great obstacle in the pig-raising industry.Particularly in recent years,because of the death or culling of pigs after an outbreak of PEDV,the farm suffered great loss,specially for the large-scale pig farm lost heavily.In November of 2016,the PED burstoutina large scale pig farm of Shaanxi Province.To the farm’s development in the future and the implementation of the disease prevention control measures,the reason of PED outbreak was tracked and analyzedin the farm.Its prevention and control measureswere studied.In the frist part,this reason of PED outbreak was investigatedinthe large-scale pig farm of Shanxi.Through investigatingthe layout of the pig farm,inquiring about the management of technical personnel and workers in the field,and checking the production record,thecauses of disease outbreaks was found.First,the main cause of the disease was that the individual sows broughtvirus(strong virulence)during a long time,and the level of maternal antibody was low in newborn piglets.Secend,because the delivery roomtemperature was instability,newborn piglets were increased susceptibility.Third,the management subjective was loophole,and system implementation was not in place.Fourth,objectively designof piggery defected and biological security system is not perfect.In the second part,in view of the above causes,the comprehensive prevention and control measures were adopted.pig design defects were improved and the basic management was strengthen.At the same time,fetal were inactivated feeding back and immune with two times of their own tissue vaccine in 14 days before the expected date.The level of maternal antibodyeffectively was improved in piglets.while strengthening the nursing piglets,the effective control of the disease was taken.the incidence rate of piglets decreased from 72.56% to 4.09%,the mortality rate fell from 49.95% to 0.22%,achieved significant control effect.The research provided a valid referencefor large-scale pig farms in the prevention and treatment of the disease..
