Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis(IBR)is an infectious diseases caused by bovine herpesvius-1 disease(BHV-1).The main clinical symptoms are fever,cough respiratory symptoms,or endometritis,bull balanitis and abortion.The disease can inhibit the immune system of cattle,stimulate the infection of many diseases and hinder the development of cattle industry.In order to understand the epidemic situation of IBR in two cattle farms in Xinjiang,the epidemiological investigation of IBR was carried out in immunization A cattle farm,and non-immune B cattle farm from 2017 to 2018,according to the investigation results,establish scientific prevention and control measures for two cattle farms.124 serum and whole blood samples were collected from immunization A cattle farm in 1,2,3,4 and 5 months after immunized,while collected 485 serum,whole blood from non-immune B cattle farm.Antibodiey was detected by IDEXX IBR-ELISA,and pathogen was detected by PCR.Virus isolation was performed on the collected samples.The detection result is,immunization A cattle farm positive rate of antibody was 98.9%(123/124),the positive rate of PCR was 0%(0/123);non-immune B cattle farm positive rate of antibody was 42.5%(205/485),and the positive rate of PCR was 14.6%(10/146).There were two cytopathic effect(CPE),which from non-immune B cattle farm positive PCR nasal swabs with MDBK cells.The gI gene was amplified by PCR in virus strain with CPE,and the target band appeared at 398 bp,and the sequencing result was the closest to the homology of IBRV MN2(MG407776.1)isolated from American was 99.4%.The isolated virus was named IBRV/XJNLK/2018,and TCID50was 10-5.5/0.1mL.The results showed that IBRV was not detected in immunization A cattle farm,which indicated that the vaccine had better protection effect.IBRV was detected in non-immune B cattle farm,explain that the cattle farm has the presence of IBR and is more serious.According to the actual breeding situation and epidemiological survey results of the two cattle farms,it is recommend to implement comprehensive prevention and control measures based on "immunity" to achieve the purpose of controlling IBR epidemic.
