As an important part of China's diplomatic strategy,"Belt and Road" is a crucial step for China to develop port economy, enhance its maritime strength, and realize its maritime power.Port cities should seize the opportunities and face the challenges, clarify the advantages and disadvantages of each port in the overall network, adapt to local conditions, give full play to their own advantages, and accelerate the upgrading of the port industry to achieve the city's own development. The phenomenon of port clustering has become a common phenomenon under the current globalization and regional economics.More and more ports rely on the complementary advantages of the port group and the characteristics of healthy competition, thus realizing rapid growth has driven the city's economic development. The emergence of port clusters is also conducive to adapting to the development trend of large-scale ships, and can better achieve economies of scale in marine transportation. To maximize the advantages of port clustering,it is necessary to understand the role of the port in the regional network or even the whole network, and understand the impact of the whole network on the port itself. This article combs the relevant researches at home and abroad about complex networks, port systems, weak ties theory, and structural equation models, and summarizes the deficiencies of existing research.Introduce the research content and research framework of this article. It also introduces the relevant theoretical foundations of complex network theory, port network, weak ties theory and structural equation model, which will pave the way for the following Northeast Asia port network structure research and weak ties strength research.By defining the scope of the Northeast Asian port group, using UCINET to analyze the collected port route data, selecting the appropriate port node to draw the Northeast Asian port network map,and from the path length between ports, port node degree value distribution, network Three aspects of structural entropy analyze the topological structure of the port network in Northeast Asia.Assuming port size, port security, port attractiveness, etc.,through the establishment of a structural equation model of the Northeast Asian port group to explore the different effects of various influencing factors on port nodes and the impact on the port network, using Amos software to the structural equations are solved to obtain the path coefficient verification hypothesis of the structural equations, and the role of weak ties in the port network of Northeast Asia is obtained. Finally, the research conclusions are drawn:(1)The average path of the Northeast Asian port spatial network is shorter, the average value is higher, the connections between ports are more frequent, and the connectivity in the network is better.(2)The port network in Northeast Asia is close to a uniform network.Because the port nodes in the network are affected by factors such as geographic location and regional economy, the network shows a strong disorder.(3)In the Northeast Asian port space network, the connectivity of the port in the complex network is positively related to the port size, and the connectivity of the port in the complex network is positively related to the port security.(4)In the Northeast Asian port space network, port attractiveness and port size are positively correlated, port facilities and port size are positively correlated, port loading and unloading capacity and port size are not verified, and port attractiveness and port security are positively correlated relationship.(5)In the Northeast Asian port space network, port location advantages and port attractiveness have a positive correlation, port facilities and port attractiveness have not been verified, port efficiency and port attractiveness have a positive correlation, port fees and ports The attractiveness of is positively correlated. From the above results,Northeast Asia's port network is highly concentrated, and hub ports have played an important role in the network.Because the path coefficients of the weak ties-related factors are relatively small,it can be seen that the weak ties strength of the Northeast Asian port network is weak.On the contrary, the strong ties plays a role in maintaining network stability and consolidating port node connections.Such a network structure is difficult to effectively deal with when a certain connection in the network is interrupted.
