The characteristics of salt POSL radiation dose measurement were studied,and the relationship between salt OSL signal and ionizing radiation dose was obtained,which was used for the measurement of public dose in a nuclear accident.This method has obvious advantages such as high throughput,short measurement time,easy measurement,low measurement limit and wide measurement range.this paper introduces the relevant theory and experimental instruments of photoluminescence,experimentally studied the dose response,linear stability of salt and the factors affecting the OSL signal of salt.The OSL principle is introduced by using the valence band theory.The OTOR model is used to theoretically verify that the photoluminescence signal of OSL material is proportional to the dose of ionizing radiation.Three excitation modes of OSL technology are introduced,and the advantages of POSL are pointed out.Three experimental instruments that were used in the study were analyzed for the preparations needed before the salt dosage characteristics study.In order to explore the salt dose measurement characteristics,the error of the absorbed dose in the center of the irradiated container of the biological irradiator was corrected.The salt container conforming to the measuring channel of the InLight200A dose measuring system was fabricated using a 3D printer;According to the degree of excitation of OSL signal,the relationship between salt dose response was studied by full excitation and partial excitation.The experimental results show that the salt OSL signal has good linearity in the range of 1?100mGy when it is fully excited.Response and linear stability,but the measurement time is long,the linear range of dose is relatively small;the salt OSL signal has good linear response and linear stability irn the range of 1?10000mGy when partially excited,and the salt POSL dose measurement method is calculated.Minimum detectable lower limit,up to 10.56uGy;The effects of natural light,storage time and preheating temperature on salt OSL signal were studied experimentally.The experimental results show that the salt OSL signal is easily affected by natural light and preheating temperature.The salt OSL signal does not decay within 30 days of storage time.Large,salt samples should be collected in the dark place when sampling at the nuclear accident site and should be protected from light in the experimental measurements.In this paper,the advantages of wide distribution of salt and convenient sampling make the measurement of the public radiation dose of nuclear accidents have high-flux advantage.Based on the POSL excitation mode,it is not necessary to excite all the ions in the crystal trap,and the OSL signal intensity of the salt background is small.It has a lower minimum detectable lower limit,which fully confirms that salt has good radiation dose measurement characteristics.It is not only a good nuclear accident dose material,but also can improve the existing retrospective dosimetry methods,and the potential development is Personal dosimeter.
