With the rapid development of the building structure design,construction technology and the public demand for the diversity of structural forms getting higher and higher,building height,span increasing and increasingly diversified structure,bring great challenges in terms of structure design and construction in all kinds of engineering,therefore structural mechanics and technical problems are getting more and more attention.Large-span cantilever structure as one kind of new form of structure,there are some obvious factors such as its great engineering scale,long construction cycle,uncertain force transmission path between each component in the structure and obviously dynamic changes of structure stress during the period of construction,which result in many disadvantages and uncertain factors in construction process.However,numerical simulation and monitoring of cantilevered structure is to ensure that structure stress is in a reasonable range during the process of construction,in order to achieve the construction of security and structure forming accuracy.For cantilever structure,the structure of the numerical simulation of construction process and construction process of field monitoring is of great significance.This paper takes Nankai University student activity center as the project background,discusses the numerical simulation of cantilever structure in construction process and the principles and methods of construction monitoring.We mainly monitor the strain of the key parts in mega-truss and displacement of the cantilevered end,and also simulate and analyze the whole process of construction of Nankai University student activity center structure.By means of comparing the field monitoring results and the simulation values both at the cantilever side and tension side after the completion of each construction phase,we verify not only the operability and feasibility of adopting numerical simulation method to simulate the stress state of each component during construction process,but also its necessity and importance during construction monitoring.Due to the particular structure of the "pole" and prestressing force,we use the finite element numerical model to analyze existing of prestressing force and explain the relevant mechanism of action,which can be a reference for later similar projects.Finally,on the basis of summing up the work of the whole,we put forward the suggestions and prospects for further research.
