The electromagnetic railgun,as a kinetic energy weapon,has advantages such as with high velocity and high precision.At present,there is a rapidly increasing need for electromechanical devices requiring high energy and extremely high power for very short periods of time.The most efficient and compact sources capable of such high pulsed power are special electrical machines called air-core pulsed alternators which are characterized by an extremely low internal impedance during discharge.This paper briefly describes the basic operation principle of the electromagnetic rail gun system based on the air-core pulse Alternator,introduces the function and use of each monomer,and analyzes the system topology structure.The power supply system of the aircore electric Alternator is composed of air-core pulse Alternator,a driving motor,an excitation module and a discharge switch.Then,the modeling of the air-core pulse Alternator is analyzed,and the parameters such as magnetic density and inductance are analyzed.Analyze excitation initialization,selfexcitation rectifier of air-core pulse Alternator,and metal short circuit process of air-core pulse Alternator.Through the simulation model,the simulation model of power supply system is established,the different operation stages of the power supply system of the aircore motor are studied,and the operating characteristics of the power supply are analyzed,and the design of the power supply system of the air-core motor is guided to evaluate the performance of the system.Then,the parameters of voltage and current in each stage of the power supply system of the air-core motor are analyzed.Switching device of power supply system(excitation initialization,self excitation rectifier,discharge rectifier),electric arc elimination device for electromagnetic railgun,measuring element,simulation load of electromagnetic gun,wire fixing device are analyzed,designed and type selected.Finally,the specific requirements of the controller of the power supply system are introduced,including the function of the controller,interface and so on.Select hardware and design related expansion of the external circuit.The software requirements and main architecture of the controller are introduced.Last,introduce the processing and manufacturing process of the important monomer of the power supply system,and the related experiment.
