Polymer flooding is an important technical means of three oil recovery.The supporting technology is becoming more and more mature,and the scale of polymer flooding is increasing.The proportion of the polymer flooding is increasing year by year.It becomes the important guarantee for susta inable development of Daqing oilfield.The second class reservoir of X block is the first polymer pilot area industrialized promotion-blocks.It was put into production in August 1994,and began to adopt polymer-flooding in December1995.After polymer flooding,the effect characteristics of different wells are different.The influence factors are the development of the reservoir and the well pattern perfection.The important means of adjustment is the injection parameters adjustment.Combining the mechanisms of polymer flooding and using a variety of dynamic and static data,the paper summarizes the exploitation characteristics of the second type oil layers.At the same time,we analyzed the factors that affect the development effect of polymer flooding.Every phase has different characters after the polymer injection.This paper systematically summarizes every character.We study the reservoirs' main problems and the main contradictions in the different development stages.We have an evaluation of exploitation results.We can also effectively provide some understandings and a reliable reference for other polymer flooding blocks.Through a series of tracking and adjusting,the second-class reservoir has achieved good results.The injection pressure increased steadily from 7.8 MPa to 12.2 MPa in the whole process of polymer injection,and the effective ratio of production wells reached 96.7 %.When the polymer dosage was 39 PV·mg/L,the oil wells in this area began to take effect.The effect of polymer flooding is better than that of mathematical model,the low value period is 15 months,and the water cut minimum value is 80.99 %,which is lower than that of 11.5 %before effect.The stage enhanced recovery ratio is 14.82 %,the stage recovery ratio is24.28 %,and the cumulative recovery ratio is 58.17 %.
