Petroleum is not only a kind of non-regenerative resource, but also the crucial economicvital. With the exploitation of oilfield, especially when the water cut of reserves is high, both theeconomy index and technique index will get worse. Polymer flooding technology have acquiredobvious effectiveness all over the world,a lot of thoery and experiment have carried on.Especially, polymer flooding has been industrial using on main reservoir in DaQing oil field after1996.Polymer flooding has been the important guarantee in Daqing stable production.Butpolymer flooding form begin to finish only needs 6-8 year, main reservoir flooding willfinish. How to exploit the other residual oil is urgent question. At present Daqing Oil Field development result demonstrate that most of remaining oilmailly inside low seepage rate reservoir.Because complicacy of non-main reservoir, exploit onnon-main reservoir need new thoery and technology. So to the second class reservoir ,this paperstudy on experimental reserarch.Based on the academic experiences of the former scientists, a series of experiment wascarried on,such as Polymer quality testing, polymer passing, polymer flooding on homogen rockcore, polymer flooding on three seepage rate rock core, etc. The result indicates that, polymerflooding can enhance oil recovery in certain degree through low seepage rate artificia rock coreand non-homogen artificia rock core. The success of the new method has an important strategicsignificance on effectively and economically developing and utilizing oil-mineral resource, remaining the oilfield lasting development towards high level and high efficiency.
