The Relationship Research Of Space Settings Between New Urban District And Municipal District In China

As the new urban district is becoming a more and more important new-type space in strategic level,the relationship between the new urban district and city,especially the municipal district,has gradually become a heated issue.Since 1990s of the 20-century,the new urban district development is flourishing in various major Chinese cities,the administrative grades are commensurate to the countys or even higher ones,and they ramified all over the 29 provincial-level administrative region,except Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan.Meanwhile,in the process of urbanization,exploring the question of new urban district is increasingly urgent.One of the vital elements is that spatial relation between many new urban districts and municipal districts are still not clarified.This paper consists of five main parts:(1)The first part is introduction.Mainly introduced the research background and proposed research problems,after that,discussed the research results of municipal districts and new urban districts at home and abroad,then made technology roadmap and explained it.(2)The second part defined the concept and the historical development of municipal districts.After the definition of the key conceptions,this paper explored the historical evolution of city's subarea and municipal districts,then explained the evolution of police distract in the late Qing Dynasty and Republican period.(3)The third part analysed the spatial patterns and the phase divisions of new urban districts.This paper will divide the development of new urban districts into three stages based on some standards,then estimated the kernel density and analyse spatial characteristics.(4)The forth part is about the relationship research of space settings between new urban district and municipal district.Mainly dicussed the kinds of spatial relationships and revealed their impacts for the administrative divisions.(5)The fifth part is about problems,recommendations and conclusions.Mainly proposed some questions and advices of the new urban districts in the process of municipal district development,then made simple conclusions and aspects that need to improve,finaly proposed research prospects.
