Research On The Employment Quality Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

All along,the labor export group of migrant workers play an important role in the process of Chinese reform and opening up,industrialization and urbanization,which promote the modernization of our country.The employment of migrant workers is directly related to the balanced and rapid development of Chinese rural economy and the happiness and peace of rural inhabitants,and even related to the whole situation of economic and social development.At the same time,there has been a generational change in the interior of migrant workers,the new generation of migrant workers has gradually become the main part,which play a more and more important role in the whole economy and society.The number of migrant workers increasing more and more,but it isn't optimistic about the employment rate.Many migrant workers still unemployed at home,or stay in the town as a day laborer,which makes the difficulty of migrant workers employment became the hot and focused issues of society.Many experts and scholars are committed to study the employment of migrant workers,but in the past,there are more attention to the number of migrant workers,and few of in-depth study on the employment quality.Recently,Chinese economic developing by leaps and bounds,which bring the rise in employment rate and promote the employment of migrant workers as a special group.While it is important to enhance the number of employment,but the increase of quantity is meaningless without quality when economy developed to a certain level.The employment quality which is realted to migrant workers' livelihood is worthier of more attention.The employment quality of new generation migrant workers not only directly reflects the live quality,but also indirectly reflects some problems of this group in the process of employment.Through the research of new generation migrant workers' employment quality conditions for us to find the problem and seek the effective way to enhance the quality of employment.In this paper,we made a series of more suitable for the new generation of migrant workers employment quality evaluation index based on the quantitative evaluation system of Prof.Liu Suhua.And through the questionnaire survey about the work of the new generation of migrant workers employment quality in Guiyang,we summarized the the new generation of migrant workers' employment quality in Guiyang.We investigated the new generation of migrant workers' working hours,labor remuneration,working stability,working environment,labor contract and social insurance,then analyzed every index layer one by one.After statistical analysis,it isconcluded that with the rapid developing of Guiyang area's economy and and the increasing of migrant workers,employment environment isn't increased correspondingly,the employment quality of the new generation of migrant workers is still low.Through the pre-analysis of the influence factors of the new generation of migrant workers' employment quality in Guiyang City,we selected gender,nationality,technology,education and working life in these variables to perform regression analysis for the employment quality,so as to find out the key factors significantly influenced the employment quality of new generation migrant workers in Guiyang,and compare the relative influence on the quality of employment.Finally,based on the problems of new generation migrant workers employment quality in Guiyang,we seek the new approach to improve the employment quality of the new generation of migrant workers from the sides of government,employer and worker separately.
