As time goes by,migrant workers separated into two parts, the second generation of migrant workers gradually replace the first generation of migrant workers and become into the main part of the total migrant workers. Because of the difference of the growing up environment and historical background, these two generations of migrant workers form significantly different characteristics, which lead to their different personal qualities, performance, values and different employment status. In the background of transformation and upgrading of industrial structure in China, this paper set out to analyze the characteristics of two generations of migrant workers comparatively in terms of individual and working features, and study the influencing factors of the flowing of migrant workers by using the logistic model. It not only helps to lead the flowing direction and speed, but also is of great significance to promote the urbanization process of China.Based on the survey data, the paper Compared with the present situation of two generations of migrant workers. The second generation of migrant workers pay attention to individual development as well as their income. The higher income is not the only reason for their flowing, what they really want is to be citizens. There is no significant difference between the two generations of migrant workers in the frequency of the flowing, because of the lower stability of work, and the relatives and friends are the most important channel of employment information for the both sides. In the paper, the logistic model is used to analyze the influence factors of the flowing of these two generations of migrant workers and the total migrant workers. For the first generation of migrant workers, age, farming, contract, discrimination and feelings have an influence on the decision of flowing. For the second generation of migrant workers, the education level, farming, contract and daily working hours have an influence on the decision of flowing. Farming, contract, daily working hours and discrimination have an influence on the decision of flowing of the total migrant workers.Based on the research conclusions and practical background, this paper gives some suggestions from the view of the first generation of migrant workers and the second generation of migrant workers for the urbanization of China..For the first generation of migrant workers, improving the competitiveness in employment and protect the legitimate rights are the main work. For the second generation of migrant workers, necessary conditions should be given to them for the long-term employment in cities, and part of the second generation of migrant workers should be guided to the country around the cities.
