With the rapid development of information technology, e-learning has become one of the most important means of distance education and adult training. However, due to the lack of supervision mechanism and communication between teachers and students, e-learning can't completely take place of traditional learning, therefore, blended learning emerged. Blended learning emphasizes that combine the advantages of traditional learning with the advantages of e-learning, make good use of various learning theories, teaching support and teaching strategies to carry out teaching activities,in order to achieve the teaching objectives and good teaching results.The development of blended learning requires the support of multimedia equipment, while the functions of Wechat Media Platform excel other professional teaching media, such as simple operation, rich function, anytime or anywhere can be viewed and open to the public features. So, how to design and develop blended learning procedure based on Wechat Media Platform is the main problem of this research.Firstly, this paper analyzes the definition of blended learning by domestic and foreign scholars, and gives own understanding and insight of it, then expounds the theoretical basis and blending constituent, combines the function with advantage characteristics of WeChat Media Platform, presents a new blended learning framework of WeChat Media Platform based on the existing blended learning process.Finally, this paper takes the AutoCAD graphics course as a teaching case, and has carried out teaching practice based on blended learning process of WeChat Media Platform. Practice has proved that the learning process is effective, and has achieved success in three aspects of platform construction, teaching management and learning effect, which provides reference for theoretical research and teaching practice in this field.
