Background:Myofascial pain syndrome is a common clinical soft tissue pain disease, its main feature and the point of diagnosis is the trigger point。Butthepathogenesis is uncertainyet, but the"energy crisis theory" has been agreed by most researchers.MPS has no corresponding record in traditional Chinese medicine, but its clinical symptoms should belong to "Bi disease".Western medicine mostly adopts symptomatic treatment to relieve pain.MPS is the indication for acupotomy, but the specific mechanism needs further study. Objective:To understand the current research progress of MPS and explore the changes of norepinephrine(NE)and five hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)in the local tissue and peripheral blood of MPS model rats after acupotomy,in order to clarify the mechanism of acupotomy intervention. Methods:We divided 24 rats randomly into model group, blank group, injection group and Acupotomy group(injecting Liddle Kain). The rat model of myofascial pain syndrome was established by the method of combination exercise and centrifugal exercise. The rats were sacrificed for 8 weeks and after 1 week of rest, the model results were tested. After successful modeling, the rats were injected with the corresponding method for 3 weeks. The levels of’5-HT and NE in the serum and triggering point of the rats were detected by ELIS A,statistical analysis was performed with SPSS 20 statistical software. Results:After 8 weeks of modeling,it was found that compared with the blank group,5-HT and NE were significantly increased in the serum and local tissues of the rats in the model group(P<0.05).In the rats of the injection group, the content of 5-HT increased in the serum and tissue(P<0.05),while the content of serum 5-HT and NE in the injection group was less than that of the model group(P<0.05),the 5-HT content in the local muscle tissue was not significantly different from that in the control group(P>0.05),and the NE content decreased significantly(P<0.05).The contents of 5-HT and NE in serum and local muscle of rats were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of needle and lidocaine injection on myofascial pain syndrome may be related to the decrease of serum and local tissue 5-HT and NE.And the needle knife is better than drug injection for 5-HT regulation in the local tissue.
