Clinical Observation Of Mild Moxibustion For Treatment Of Breast Cancer-associated Lymphedema

Objective:The aim of this study was to observe the effect of mild moxibustion therapy on breast cancer related lymphedema,it is objective to provide effective clinical evidence for BCRL patients treated with mild moxibustion.Method:48 patients with BCRL will be included in the study.48 cases were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.24 patients in the experimental group were treated with mild moxibustion,24 patients in the control group were treated with pneumatic circulation,4 weeks for a course of treatment,weekly treatment for 2 times.Weekly measurement and record limb arm circumference,limb self-swelling,limb muscle strength,patients' quality of life scores and fatigue scores were recorded at the beginning and at the end of the course of treatment.The results were statistically analyzed,upper limb mean and difference,swelling,muscle strength,quality of life score and fatigue score were observed before and after treatment.All of datas was used by SPSS 20.0 statistical software for statistical analysis,if P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Results:Through clinical observation for 4 weeks,two groups of patients limb arm circumference are relatively narrow after treatment,comparison between the two groups and the same group before and after comparison P<0.05,the difference is statistically significant.The experimental group and the control group arm circumference decreased by 1.13cm and 0.61cm,the experimental group was better than the control group;Analysis of variance between groups,starting from the first visit P<0.05,with all the juice learning differences,after one week treatment,the efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group;Two groups of patients after treatment was in horizontal stripes and horizontal stripes on 10 cm was statistically difference between groups,the patients in the two arm circumference improvement than the control group obviously;Consciously swelling within a group before and after comparison P<0.05,two groups of swelling after treatment than before treatment in patients with ease,comparison between groups P<0.05,the experimental group is better than the control group;Patients quality of life overall comparison between groups P<0.05,statistically significant differences in experimental group is better than that of control group,the quality of life of the item to improve embodied in the "tired","attitude to treat","the side effects of treatment of" three aspects;Patients with fatigue score after treatment between the two groups in the total score and each dimension score no significant difference;within groups,in the "behavior" and"emotional" and "feeling","cognitive" four dimensions score and total score of fatigue on P<0.05,statistically significant,obvious effects of experimental group.Safety evaluation,a case of mild moxibustion treatment of patients with upper limb caused by flushing,itching skin allergic reaction.Conclusion:Analysis results show that the two treatment methods can effectively reduce upper limb lymphedema.Mild moxibustion treatment compared with pneumatic circulation treatment on ruduce limb arm circumference is more obvious;Mild moxibustion treatment of upper limb lymphedema onset faster,and can better alleviate limb swelling;Mild moxibustion can improve life quality,reduce the patient's fatigue from multiple dimensions and has relatively high security.Mild moxibustion is effective and easy to operate,low cost,high degree of patient acceptance.Mild moxibustion is a worthy of clinical promotion in the treatment of breast cancer associated lymphedema.
