Clinical Observation Of Fire Acupuncture Combined With Moxibustion For Treatment Of Nodular Cystic Acne

Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe clinical efficacy and safety of the Combination of Fire-needle and Moxibustion Therapy in nodular cystic Acne. This study was based on the observation of the data and the results as the basis, not only introduced the advantages of the Combination of Fire-needle and Moxibustion Therapy in nodular cystic Acne, but also provides a new idea for the clinical treatment of nodular cystic acne.Methods:(1)In this study, the case was divided into treatment group and control group randomly, and the two group required a total of 88 patients by the calculation.(2) Therapy of Fire-needle and Moxibustion was the treatment group, the control group was Adapalene gel and Fusidic Acid Cream (3) After the observation the data obtained before and after the treatment were treated with Excel, then the statistical software SPSS 17.0.Results:In this study, we collected 88 patients, and there was no excluding case and 3 shedding cases. It was no significant difference in the gender, age, course of disease and the severity of the disease (P> 0.05). (1) After the treatment, The total effective rate of treatment group and control group were 90.5% and 65.1%, two groups compared with significant difference (P< 0.05).Therefore the effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group. And the treatment group better than the control group in reducing the number of nodules and cyst and improving skin texture and skin swelling (P< 0.05. But there was no significant difference between two groups of improving its skin color (P> 0.05). (2)Both of the treatment group and the control group could reduce the number of nodules and cyst and showed different degrees of improving in nodular cystic acne skin texture, skin swelling, skin color.and there was significant difference by the statistical test (P<0.05).Therefore it illustrated the two methods of treatment of nodular cystic acne have a certain effect. (3) After 2 months follow-up, the treatment group had 5 cases of recurrence,8 cases of the control group relapsed。Compared the recurrence rate between the two groups, there was significant difference (P>0.05). so we draw the Conclusion:the Combination of Fire-needle and Moxibustion Therapy in nodular cystic Acne was better than control group inthe long-term curative effect. Conelusion:Both of the Fire-needle combined with moxibustion and Adapalene gel combined with Fusidic Acid Creamcould reduce the quantity of nodules and cysts, and impove texture, color, pain and other nodular lesions in the patients with nodules cystic acne, but the Combination of Fire-needle and Moxibustion Therapy in nodular cystic Acne was better than control group inthe the curative effect.and There was significant difference in long-term efficacy between the two groups, and the former is better than the latter.
