In recent years,healthy and environmentally friendly cycling has been popular with people,and cycling can be done to improve their memory and health.But the outdoor cycling will be affected by the environment and geographical factors,leading to traffic jams.Traditional cycling fitness equipment is boring.Virtual cycling is now a hot topic,it can provide realistic three-dimensional scene and real-time interaction with the physical bicycle.It can create virtual cycling fitness,virtual cycling tour and other products.Virtual cycling can solve the problems of traditional cycling.However,the large number of rendering in the virtual reality scene will be limited to the operating environment in the high performance computer,and the ordinary machine is difficult to run.How to find a convenient and economical method with physical bicycle and virtual reality scene is also a large difficulty.To address the current problem,this paper presents a virtual reality bicycle frame based on cloud platform,and designs a virtual cycling system composed of cloud platform,virtual reality system,Internet of Things platform and mobile client.The system realizes the cloud rendering scene resources and the mobile experience virtual reality,it uses the Internet of Things platform to collect the user's riding data and the health data to real-time interaction with the virtual riding scene.The main contribution of this article is as follows:1.We creatively propose a virtual reality cycling framework based on cloud platform.Based on the virtual reality server,the framework uses the cloud platform to render the virtual riding scene and uses Internet of Things platform to collect cycling data.We can experience virtual riding through the wireless video stream real-time in the mobile client.Virtual reality cycling framework can alleviate the problems of high-performance rendering equipment,virtual cycling interaction and virtual cycling experience in the mobile.It can provide an economical and efficient solution for the promotion of virtual cycling.2.We implemente a method of collecting and displaying heterogeneous data in virtual cycling.The method collects the cycing data and health data of users when they are in virtual cycling through the different types of sensors and stores the data in the database.And it displays the data to the users in a visual way to provide data support for the cycling research.3.We proposed a method to optimize the delay from virtual reality server to the client and a strategy to prevent jitter in the Internet of things platform.In order to solve the problem that appears in the wireless video transmission,the method automatically adjust the picture clarity according to the current network delay,and finally reduce the impact of delay.The data stabilization strategy can solve the problem of data jitter and data delay during the serial communication of the Internet of Things,and provide the guarantee for the control of the bicycle.Actual experimental results of the prototype system show that the virtual reality bicycle system based on the cloud platform can effectively improve the experience and interactive problems of virtual cycling with the combination of cloud virtual reality server,Internet of Things platform and mobile client.
