In the mass media,profound impact on today's social life situation,a reality TV show is such a product,that is human centered,through the story to provide emotional consumption,no matter what the story is,only one goal,to attract the eye,make the audience resonate,so as to achieve the purpose of business.The audience watching the program in the process of emotional input,the search for information,after watching the program to generate meaning,all belongs to a cycle of repeated emotional production process.The happiness of this process to bring the audience a strong self fulfilling and satisfying,they show the information to correct and supplement,interpretation,reconstruction,ridicule,he and I find self position in cultural consumption,they in the emotion into the program text to read,can experience different life story,get transmission type self intoxicated,and pleasure and sense of self concept of production,so as to compensate for the lack of emotion in real life.If the program suppresses the audience's consumption of happiness,they will feel boring,give up watching.Today's society is a highly developed society of mass media,but also deeply influenced by consumer culture.In the economic,market factors,reality show will have some consumerism tendencies,this is normal.However,due to the limitations of the nature of Chinese media,consumerism tends to be regulated.Consumerism is a kind of consumption culture,but it is not equal to the consumption culture.Under the influence of consumer culture,the value orientation of reality show is worth studying.Since the beginning of the reality show on the name of "everyone is equal" slogan,give people an opportunity to express an important platform.Under the influence of consumer culture,the status of "human" is becoming more and more important,due to the business logic behind;this show will inevitably lead to the alienation of people,resulting in some drawbacks.
