Since the 21 st century,the global information technology is advancing by leaps and bounds.In the communication field,radio communication has been widely used in daily life and nearly all the other areas.In reality,the space radio environment is more complex.Therefore,it is essential for the safety of wireless radio transmission.In order to achieve the optimal management of radio spectrum resources,the relevant departments need to use advanced radio monitoring technology to monitor the radio waves.As rapid development of radio technology,software-defined radio technology is able to achieve signal acquisition and radio wave analysis by software programming.As a result,the technology provides new ideas and methods for radio monitoring.With the increasing of mobile phone users,mobile network keeps on growing,the radio management agency must strengthen the supervision and management for number and location of mobile base station,achieving the optimal allocation of base stations.This thesis studies the basic theory of software-defined radio monitoring technology,and designs a base station monitoring system based on software-defined radio.Firstly,it briefly introduces-defined the development of software-defined-radio-related technology and the researching background and significance of software-defined radio monitoring.And then,the overall program designing is completed for the hardware and software system of the base station monitoring.The system terminal transceiver hardware is designed according to the needs of actual hardware application.Terminal hardware design focuses on the realization of the wide-band radio reception and transmission in RF front-end unit,the high-speed signal processing in baseband processing unit,the high-speed data processing in AD/DA conversion and control processing unit.Secondly,the architecture diagram and its description are given in the design of the system software platform whose database and its six major functional modules are designed accordingly.The functions including detail parameters monitoring,GIS(Geographic Information System)presentation,data comparison,statistical report,data query and radio spectrum monitoring are realized.Finally,the cases for the system testing are designed,and the test of the base station monitoring system is carried out.The test results are summarized also.The content of this thesis is of great significance for the whole base station monitoring,and the monitoring of the number and distribution of mobile communication base stations is completed.So,the radio-managing department can grasp the number and distribution of base stations accurately and manage them effectively.The system is portable,reliable,easy to operate.It can greatly improve the regulatory ability and technical level of the radio-managing department to manage mobile base stations.
