The development of our country has been based on the stable development of agriculture since its establishment,and gradually formed large-scale tomato planting environment.With the continuous renewal of agricultural products to the towns,and the enthusiasm of farmers towards the scientific and technological productivity,great development prospect of agriculture has been formed.For tomato has both characteristics of fruits and vegetables,it has been divided into two categories,that is,vegetable kind and fruit kind according to different kinds of tomato cultivation and the different needs of people.Based on people's growing level of healthy food,the requirements can be met according to the different varieties.And the scientific cultivation and management of crop planting also need the management of the quality and drug using.These are embodied in science and technology level of agriculture planting of our country.Therefore,products which can apply the existing scientific and technological means to actual production are in need,in order to escort the agricultural production.As an expert system with artificial intelligence technology,the development of several decades made it more and more mature.At this stage,it has entered the practical application stage,which is mainly used as a tool for the intelligent analysis of human beings.Seeing from the function angle,an expert system is computer software to simulate human thinking,and it can simulate the work of domain experts,in accordance with the requirements of design,answering questions for the users.In this paper,the expert system of tomato planting was introduced,and the knowledge framework which was based on the ontology was adopted to describe knowledge base with concepts.Through the application of knowledge representation and knowledge acquisition,data collection,analysis and knowledge process were realized.Tomato fine Planting Expert system development combines the Academy of Agricultural Sciences and farmers in the years of research and experience in planting,use of our existing system of tomato knowledge as a basis for,to the existing mature science and technology as the carrier,for the convenience of farming households used directly for the purpose of to timely,instant,real-time,assist agricultural growers to obtain the maximum economic benefit,makes science and technology play a dueeffect in tomato cultivation.
