| There are some limitations about our managing method of traditional agriculture. It shows in blindness on decision-making, low efficiency and low quality on spread scientific research achievement. All of these cannot suit the demand of modernization. Expert system technique provides a new idea and means to deal with the complicated agricultural problem. Expert system tool offers the platform to develop expert system. This tool is mainly made up of knowledge base management system, inference engine, explain system and help system. The knowledge base management system face to agriculture expert directly, it takes charge of knowledge acquisition, along with knowledge base's modification, browse and expansion. The inferences engine and explain system face the last user-peasant The help system make agriculture expert an user easy to use the system. in the course of design, this paper realized object-oriented (00) knowledge base (KB) and distributing inference engine through full use of 00 technology. For knowledge base dynamic coalition and new one input is implemented with Visual C++ development studio, agricultural expert can build knowledge base and produce expert system. Object-oriented knowledge representation id adopted by comparing all kinds of knowledge representation. It shorts the I semantic gap between application concepts and computer concepts. Knowledge is inherited by building relationship. Domain experts can input all kinds of knowledge such as text, picture, sound and video. The analysis and design of object-oriented distributing uncertain inference method are implemented. This tool can make the agriculture expert user build his domain expert system directly without knowledge engineer's help. It is a multimedia, non- program and simple expert system platform. At present, we have built many agriculture expert systems with this tool, such as: wheat management ES, corn management ES, cotton management ES and so on.
