This paper investigate and research the work of compilation of guangxi comprehensive archives through interview and network,analysising achievements and problems of the work of compilation of Guangxi comprehensive archives.Summarizing that work of compilation has obtained great achievement,such as socialization of selection,automatic processing,adopting joint compilation step by step.And analysising problems of the work of compilation of Guangxi comprehensive archives,such as lack of research staffs and have low comprehension;lack the topic which reflect cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities?special collection resources?features of the time;the compilation methods are mainly based on the separate compilation,supplemented by the compilation and research;the quality of work of compilation is not high;the social benefit and economic benefit of archival compilation is hard to take both into account;the protection of intellectual property rights of archival compilation is not enough.On the basis of analyzing the causes of the problems,the paper puts forward some useful countermeasures,such as improving the leadership's emphasis on archive compilation and strengthening business training;enriching collection esources and optimize retrieval tool;transformating the traditional thought of archival compilation and fully developing the archives information resources;improving the quality of archival compilation;taking the social benefit and economic benefit of archival compilation into account;intensifying the protection of intellectual property rights of archival compilation.
