Design And Implementation Of The Material Management System Of First Hospital Of Qinhuangdao

The material management system of Qinhuangdao First Hospital was devised in order to reduce administrative cost and improve the working environment and work efficiency.The principle of material management is to make unified management and step-by-step implementation.Both the system modularization and business control,as well as independent review of our hospital would be achieved by using this system which integrates the making plans,material purchasing,inventory controlling,and summarizing statistics,etc.The material management,according to this paper,is based on B/S model which is upon on Struts and Hibernate skills,and the system uses Extjs and Struts technology to realize presentation layer of MVC(Model View Controller)mode and interaction with the user interface;Hibernate was used for data persistence,which is to connect to the database and complete the data operation.In the early stage of system construction,through the analysis of the background of the research on materials management system combined with the actual characteristics and the development requirements of current material management in our hospital,we put forward a goal that developing a material management system with convenient operation and strong adaptability.Through detailed research on materials management system involved in the business process and the specific function,we conducted a detailed feasibility analysis(including technical feasibility,economic feasibility,operation feasibility)and demand analysis,and we fully understood which functions the system needs to realize.Through the analysis of material management business process,the system adopted module structured design method and was divided into five modules:Basic information management module,project management module,purchasing management module,inventory management module,and budget management module.Combined with the requirement analysis and system design plan,we developed the material management system,Through the way of using page screenshots for the system functions,we briefly described the using technologies and briefly illustrated the core code and key technologies.After the system was completed,we conducted a comprehensive test of the system,after several times of modification,the material management system was come out on-line finally.This system has been successfully pilot run as the phased objectives within Qinhuangdao First Hospital,which result shows that the system is running evenly,and the interface is user-friendly,most importantly,the system elevates work efficiency greatly in the aspect of material management,reduces the error rate in the management,provides the accurate materials information rapidly for materials managers and also provides scientific data to support reducing material cost and scientific purchasing.The material management system gain the recognition from both the leaders and the colleagues.
