Small And Medium-sized Hospital Management Information System

With the development of computer technology and modern communication technology, mankind has steped into knowledge economy times which characterized by digital and network. while people are increasingly demanded of all kinds of information. Hospital Information System (HIS for short) is the inevitable product when information technology applied in hospital, also it is an important part during the the current transformation stream of the traditional industries for informationization. It can achieve all-round management for hospital and its attached departments'HR, material and financial affairs. In a sense, the construction of HIS is a kind of management mode rebuilding that is facilitate to the hospital information management. The hospital information system must be fully taken the various departments of the hospital needs into account when carry out a detailed program design.In this paper, wih the combination of actual hospital information system design and development, firstly, the profile, characteristics and development trend of hospital information systems at home and abroad are presented, while necessity for the developing hospital information system is also pointed out. Then the basic knowledge and technical difficulties on the development of the hospital information system are listed and the design concepts, the design model and the actual structure of a complete hospital information system for meeting the design principles and design are given. On the base of it, this paper also described in detail for the design of out-patient management systems which is the component of hospital information. Finally, the future development of hospital information systems are presented.There are four main modules in this hospital information system, include out-patient management module, a pharmacy-management module, hospitalization modules and network platform design for hospital district. While in the process of system development, I am mainly responsible for hospital out-patient management systems and the design of network platform for hospital district.
